This school is a terrible environment and is not safe for anyone who isnΓÇÖt perfect. This school is absolutely terrible if your not completly average if you are just a little weird then you get bullied. The teachers donΓÇÖt teach and allow their favorites to do whatever they want. They only help the ones that are ΓÇ£dumberΓÇ¥ .And all the teachers make the students feel bad about them self expecialy the pe coaches who make fun of students everyday. I had an experience when my best friend was made fun of about her height. The teachers here are iresponsible and loose everybodyΓÇÖs work they are immiture, sexist and in some cases even racist.

I went to this school for two years had amazing grades, above average testing scores, and all the teachers and staff seemed to care about is what I was posting on social media or if I sometimes had an attitude with students. This school is full of very close minded people. There was a situation where I was harassed and the principal acted like he could not do a darn thing about it! Teachers spend more time on discipline oppose to actually teaching the students! Also, teachers are so coldhearted and rude. I have not once encountered a teacher yet that has actually been pleasant to be around, and us students obviously have to be around them a lot! Guidance counselors are not looking out for your wellbeing , they would rather stir up more drama than the students have! The dresscode, is absolutely annoying. Students can't wear yoga pants or leggings? What is the reason for that if they are NOT see through? A students shoulder is showing, you definitely can't have that! Most of the time, the boys in our school are not looking at your shoulder. The teachers that call it out bring more attention to it than there EVER was. Maybe the teachers and staff should learn to stop sexualizing women and allowing boys to think of girls like they are there to distract them by what they are simply wearing to school! What do you want the students to wear to school? Nun outfits or a berka? Either get a uniform or stop being so harsh on things that really do not distract students!

Rugby has been very improved since I started 6th grade, the teachers there love you and want you to get better almost every second of the day! If you did encounter a bully, you would just tell a teacher and they would get it solved almost in a heartbeat. The core classes are great and they teach you very important stuff so that you aren't just passing the test, but to grow and develop in a good way so that you can be go to the best of your ability!

All of my teachers are very caring and nice, even exploratory teachers (except for the gym teachers).

We relocated out of state during our daughter's 7th grade year, not an easy year to come into a new school. Our daughter became involved in the theatre program here and the transition has been positive. She is having a wonderful middle school experience. She attended a private school prior to Rugby, so the first year was not much of a challenge, and signifantly less homework. Her eighth grade year she was put in the advanced classes and has been getting a bit more homework. She is enjoying all her classes, however her math class could be improved if time management was improved. Her teacher dedicates the majority of the class time reviewing hw from the night before, leaving less time "teaching" the material for the next nights hw so instead of hw being practice experience, the student is left learning on their own mainly off of notes they are given to learn from. Seems it needs to be reversed to be more effective learning experience. Overall she is enjoying and doing well in her classes.
