I was worried after reading reviews that my kids might be bullied at this school. I have two teenagers attending. I have a boy and a girl and they have not had any issues. My kids have never loved school, but they don’t mind going and they seem to be excited about their future. Teachers will send a text if grades drop which helps busy parents feel involved . I would recommend this school.

My son's experience at this school has been terrible. He is a respectful young man, and yet is bullied by students and, on more than one occasion, faculty as well. Faculty does not foster collaborative relationships with parents.

"the teachers don't teach you and tell you to google it. if you accidentally forget to sign in during bull time, you get bull pen which is basically a detention for 72 minutes. our bull time is an opportunity for us students to get some extra help, study, go to the library, or hang out with friends. we have lives too and some of us work and don't have time to hang out after school. by giving us detention (bull pen) doesn't benefit us at all. anytime i've told people i go here, they apologize we get bull time taken away when there's fights or ""trash in the commons"". first of all, if two people get in a fight, why punish the entire student body?? what sense does that make?? second of all, not everyone eats in the commons. oh yeah. our school is so over crowded that students have to eat lunch, in our main hallway (the commons) and sit on the floor and eat. i dread coming to school everyday. high school is supposed to be ""the best four years of your life"". but at hrhs, it's the worst four years of your life. don't send your child here. you're setting them up for mental and academic failure."

Supportive learning environment! Very academically challenging curriculum that has helped my children to be successful and ready for college.

This is honestly a great school! The choral department is phenomenal, the teachers are great, and the staff knows what they are doing. Academically, this school offers a great balance between challenge and involvement. The only real complaint is that school starts relatively early, however it's not really enough to take a star. There are a lot of complaints that teachers are disrespectful, however if you do what you're told to do in class this shouldn't really be a problem.
