Too many teachers leaving or being fired. Dean is rude to the kids and dont treat kids the same. They let a white girl hit and bite people kids and just talk to her but let my son get to a argument are defend his self and he the one get in trouble. Principle is the worst and shoul try to do something else for a job. My kids will not be at any of the eagle schools coming up next year. They no better than the regular schools. Dont fall for it

My son started his first school year of 2nd grade at the new Fox Park Eagle location. He is autistic with behavior mood disorder, ADHD, ODD and he is very big/tall for his age. He had a very rough start in the school year. He exhibited extremely aggressive behaviors almost every day from the first day of school. He was hitting, screaming, using foul language, etc. It was unknown at that time that his medication was contributing to the aggression. Not knowing what was causing the aggression and a working solution for almost 2 months, every single staff member at Eagle remained compassionate, patient and very encouraging to me as a single parent. They could have easily given up on my son and expelled him. But, they did not take the easy way out. The principle recommended a medical facility where I should take my son. That was when my son received more specific diagnoses and med changes. And a change in his physician. Afterwards, the Director of Special Ed initiated getting my son an IEP which had been discontinued at his previous school. The amount of time and resources put together in the IEP was extremely impressive. This has given my challenging son the chance to succeed at Eagle. My son is improving with all the different therapies he receives at Eagle. I have noticed him showing more self confidence and even taking on more self responsibility. Everyone at Eagle have gone above and beyond for my son. My son has even received a new coat for the winter as a part of their free coat program. I have never experienced a more loving and sincere group of professionals; from the principle to the lunchroom attendants. I have the utmost confidence that my son is being well taken care of academically, emotionally and physically. By the way, they have healthy tasty meals and my son still talks about how good the Thanksgiving lunch was.

My son and I are always greeted warmly by faculty. The teachers give me updates daily on his progress and issues I may need to address. They make sure to pay attention to each child's individual needs and see to it that my son is challenged and never bored. They also have many ways that parents can stay involved in the child's education, such as chaperoning educational field trips. I feel really blessed to have my son in this school.
