The admissions department is horribly unprofessional & not proactive at all! The director, Eric Cooper is just pure trash. No ill mannered human should be the head of any department. After reviewing the schools below basic academic/teacher rating, he fits in perfectly.

I’m about to give you all the most realist review you’ll ever read in your life. Hello, I currently attend Cardinal Ritter College Prep. I was forced to go to this school and there was nothing I could say or do about it. I was taken away from all of my friends and put into a small school where I was forced into isolation. I’m someone with social anxiety and depression. It was already hard for me to fit in at middle school, but I still had friends and it was fun, but this school is so small there was nothing I could do and everyone already basically knew each other. I was left in the dark. Was this by choice? Maybe, I don’t know. Sometimes I tried to talk but I could see other people having that look on their faces like why is she talking to that person or why is that person taking to her? So, I stopped. I have a lot of bad things to say about this school, but there are also good things, I have a lot of mixed views I just wish that my class was as big as these new classes now, it would’ve been easier for me to fit in with someone, anyone. I think I was honestly just better going off to Riverview. I’m not going to lie to you CRCP I feel like is honestly a waste of money. I love band it was my number one thing. BUT THEY DIDN’T GET THAT TILL THIS YEAR, that’s honestly not fair. They could’ve tried harder before, but that’s only the surface of this situation. I have no problems with the teachers, but some of them are pushovers and it bothers me, then there’s one teacher who just wants to be a high school student again her curriculum is a waste of my time and everyone else’s, she’s honestly getting a pay check for no reason. I switched her class real quick. I’m so happy that these underclassmen have the chances that I didn’t have while being here for example, band. There are some students who are just straight up disrespectful to these teachers. Not every student but some. They think it’s a joke every single day and it’s not. And let’s not forget mention the school the WHOLE ENTIRE SCHOOL cares more about sports than academics. Like wth are you sending your child here? They’re here for an education not a stupid two year scholarship to college. Now some of the classes are really worth my precious time. I love all of my classes I have this year. I can only hope you all make the right decision for your kids or have them make it on their own please!

I'm not sure of how the school is today. However, I was a member of the first graduating class (1983), after they changed the name and made it coed. It was great then, and set me up for success. Ritter prepared me for undergrad and graduate school. I have made a lucrative living, because of the foundation Ritter provided.

not to mention that the lunch menu unhealthy (fried chicken, fries, pasta, cake, cookies, etc.) it is extremley expensive! a chocolate chip cookie cost $1.25 and a chicken sandwich cost $2.75 with only the bread and $.10 extra for each condiment. they are really petty for charging you $.89 for a caprisun. overall this school is expensive. tuition is like $8,000 and textbooks aren't included. each textbook cost maybe $30 and you have to pay for lunch. then there are fines for stupid things such as not wearing all black shoes or for boys not wearing a tie. currently the school is forcing all students (even seniors) to sell 5 raffle tickets for $5 each. they're using majority of the money towards scholarships then the leftover is for a spirit shop that is coming in the 2015-16 year. and if you don't pay they are adding $25 onto your tuition. your child will complain everyday and would transfer. i recommend you don't send your child to cardinal ritter and don't even refrence a friend to cardinal ritter. it will be the worst decision in your entire life.

My child currently attends Cardinal Ritter and my child has made several complaints that the classroom is chaotic and not conducive to learning. While this may not be the same for all of the teachers, this is certainly true for some. Classroom Management is very vital to the production of our students. I have meet other parents who children attended Cardinal Ritter and they have all said the same. They took their children out of the school due to lack of Classroom Management. Unfortunately, as a result of the chaos within the classroom, the students have become argumentative and rude, verbally abusive and some times physically abusive.
