Excelsior Springs High School Ratings & Reviews

I went to this school all 4 years of my high school career and I will never recommend sending a child to this school. Almost all of the teachers I encounter really cared about their students and took the time to know them personally. The teachers were never the issue rather than the people that were above them. The district always cared about being the next big thing in the news and experimenting. Over all test scores of students were low. Work ethic of students decreased even more once they implemented standard based grading. The grading system has sent many students out into the world unprepared for their life choice, such as college. Students that attend college feel greatly unprepared from this school and those that go into the work force don't have the training or idea on what they want to do. Overall Excelsior Springs High School had and always will only care about the money they are getting rather than how it's effecting their students and preparing them for life.

Excelsior Springs is a great school better than most. i went to 5 high schools when i went through school and this school is hard but they work with you if you try youll pass you learn what you need. The other schools the teachers didnt seem to care and i seen a teacher laugh at a kid falling down stairs and didnt even check if the kid was ok unlike excelsior every teacher is professional with teaching.

ESHS is a bad bad school. they allow kids to run around. if you want your kids to be safe don't go to that school. they won't learn anything there. i quit because the school didn't do anything about it and i was bored with school. i got my ged and passed with almost perfect scores no thanks to ESHS. oh and that school is not tolerant of handicapped kids. they hardly make any effort to help them be equals to the others.

I'm a sophmore at ESHS. I also work for the school. I'd say that ESHS is a wonderful school. I love it. I love the atmosphere that's put out. I love most of my teachers. There are some tough teachers that show you what you are really made of. Then there are others that show you how far you really need to be pushed to get what you want. I really like it here & I like that the teachers are caring, they try to make sure they give you what you need to pass your grade. As a student, I should have a large opinion on the rating of our school.
