City Garden School Ratings & Reviews

My child is in the third grade, and began City Garden in first grade. He has had astounding, wonderful days, and days where he felt someone was unfair, someone was mean, or something didn't go the way he wanted it to. But by all measures of quality of life, he has Bloomed as a person in this school. He has evolved his social skills, his hand-eye-mind creative skills, his language abilities, his mathematics, and his awareness of how the world works, from food systems to human habitations. He is happy to go to school nearly every single day. As a parent, I have Reveled in the community of this school. I have enjoyed the festivals the school plays, and the Outdoor days, developed my own creative skills, and been more involved that I ever expected in helping to support the daily functions of the school. There will always be room for growth and grace. Some people will do that work and others will not. City Garden, as an entity of individuals, has been doing that work, and I am honored to continue supporting it.

It will take years for our family and our child to recover from our experience at this school. This is an unprofessional school that lost half of it's students in the past year, four families left due to the lack of leadership and integrity at this school. What once started as a nurturing alternative school is no longer. Look at other more established and professional private schools before considering this one.

This school has had such a positivie impact on our daughter, and our family in general. The holistic approach it takes carries over into every aspect of our daughter's life. Her appetite for learning, and just as importantly her approach with to the world/people around her have really blossomed since enrolling in City Garden. Thanks for what you do!

City Garden School offers an exceptional Waldorf-inspired education where the children learn through the arts, storytelling, music, and nature.
