The Greenspire School Ratings & Reviews

This school has given my son a new look on education. He feels heard & is able to express himself. The way the students are treated teaches respect towards all. They arrive to show all students they are part of a community. I absolutely love the education my son receives.

Going to greenspire may be comfortable and inviting in the 3 years that students go there, however, from the perspective of a high school student it is truly academic and social suicide. I have gone to greenspire and it took me 2 years to recover from it. High school and life past middle school is much more different than how greenspire trains students. Greenspire lacks discipline for the kids, carries a very socially inept culture, and doesn't let kids grow up. This years freshmen coming from greenspire are the definition of socially awkward and social rejects. It is harsh, however it's true. Greenspire kids develop inside a vacuum from regular social norms and it hurts them for the rest of their life. They have no idea how to act politely, talk to teachers and students correctly, and are incapable of taking care of themselves (buying their own lunches, figuring out their classes, etc). Greenspire also has a severe lack of homework, which may be seen as a plus in middle school, but when you go to highschool and have 20 pages of reading a night for ONE class, not having the practice of homework can really mess with you. My grades were awful my first two years because greenspire never taught me the work ethic. I loved the people and teachers at greenspire but it is closer to a day care than a school. Unless you plan on becoming a farmer, greenspire is not for you or your child. Despite the growing idea that public schools way of teaching is bad, it is by far the best option, and not sending your child to either west or central could be incredibly detrimental.
