This school definitely has its perks academically, but socially, definitely not. By socially I mean the relationship between students and teachers. Some of the teachers favor some students over others when they're supposed to be unbiased. Some teachers get extremely annoyed with students who are merely whispering to each other. Some even yell at them too much. Overall, I would not recommend this school, unless you don't care about your child's wellbeing and only their academic success.

Before this year it was good, but 5th grade has made me wonder about the qualification of some teachers they let in. All the other teachers are qualified, but they are allowing the 5th grade sister to return. She may have training, but it didn't help her. She thinks she knows better than us parents. She does not know how to deal with misbehavior and has questionable conduct that will be reported.

Most of it has been great, but concerns are placed on unqualified teacher sister in the current 5th grade class. Many in coming 4 th grade parents are highly concerned with lack of experience and ability to connect. Students are told to be polite, so they grin and bare it. This teacher needs to be train or retrained. Students have even caught her giving wrong information. There have been many complaints.

In light of all the changes the school administration, Sister Catherine Marie is doing a great job at trying to maintain stability. The sisters are a blessing in the faith. Though there is concern among one class. The fifth grade Sister Im is sweet, but not a qualified teacher. If you are planning on sending your child to eight grade here I would wait until Jr. High. Many of the fifth graders have lost a love for school through a lack of a good teacher, meeting ability, asking to do odd things, and a lack of connection. My child loved school, but now hates it daily. This teacher needs a lot more training and guidance. The other sisters are well qualified and the kids seem to enjoy them and learn. Send your kids here for any other grade, unless they switch this sister out. Besides this a wonderful school.

Awful. Saint Isaac Jogues Catholic School and Parish are both scary places for children. God is to be feared. Excessive writing of scripture does not foster a love for the faith. Highly punitive school leadership. Sister makes children dance like a fairy in front of the class when they answer a question incorrectly. Students must sit hands clasped, feet and knees together. Limited restroom breaks. Classrooms are freezing in the winter and sweltering in the warmer months.
