I'm a proud class of 1999 graduate. This was a great school and i would send my kids here any day if the week. Sure all schools have there problems but i never felt threatened to come here or go to the games any events. We had great teachers. By the way if there are any spelling errors blame it on the phone. I am very competent and can spell. I even left here and went on to become interested in college when i had no plans on doing so. I can't speak for how the school is now but times have changed and so have the parents and students. If your one of those parents who didn't get discipline at home and don't discipline your kids now don't expect to send your kids to school and ask the teachers to perform a miracle. A teachers job is to teach and parents are supposed to be involved in that process more than the teachers. They spend about an hour per teacher but how much time with the parents? So don't blame the teachers because it's the parents and students.

This School worked wonders in helping me heal from my experiences in Catholic Elementary School. I really appreciated the Science Classes, they educational methods wee ahead of their times during the 1970s. The Student Movement transformed the School with the help of the Teachers into a more progressive system much like Collage where we could choose our curriculum based on our interests and needs.

The school has turned around in the last year! The students have a new sense of pride and most are thinking about their post secondary options. The graduating class earned over $ 2 million dollars in scholarship money. They even made AYP this past school year! But they definitely need more parents to get involve to help out.

This school is horrible, horrible, horrible. There is not very much diversity. A third of the school are caucasians, and the rest are african americans. The discipline from the teachers is herendous! The classrooms get out of control according to my daugher, and some of the teachers don't know how to handle the students! People get out their I-Pods, and cameras in class and do whatever they feel like. If I were you, I would not send your child to this school.

Many times parents at RHS are the problem, not the students! Not MY daughter, Not MY son, seems to be the song sung by many parents when discipline is administered! Students at RHS are great kids! As in any school there are some poor teachers, but overall RHS teachers are encouraging and top rate. They help struggling students and challenge higher academic students. Extra curricular activities are available to all students! There is even after school busing for students staying for tutoring etc. The diversity at RHS prepares students for the Real World. Visit RHS any time. Walk the halls. Have a great lunch in the Eagles Nest. And if you missed the Drama Club production of Cinderella you missed seeing devoted and talented students at their best.
