I wouldn’t send anyone’s child to this school!!! The bullying is out of control and they have no idea on how to stop it!

I would like to touch bases on the parking issue. I feel its preposterous! In the morning its complete chaos. In the morning its parents rushing to drop their children off, there is no structure. Parents are dropping their kids off anywhere. Sometimes in the middle of the street Now that they blocked the circular driveway off . Kids are running across the street, I am so worried that a child will be hit by someone rushing to drop their kid off at school. What happened to having crossing guards?? Where are the teachers or security to get this in order??? In the afternoon is exactly the same but now parents are rushing to pick their children up. You have a pick up line but people are parked in the pick up line. I have almost been hit before. You really have to witness it to understand where im coming from. Management needs to get order and organization within this school. Nobody never knows anything. They never have the correct email or phone number for me but Im the one who writes it down. I remember coming to a concert that was mandatory!!!!!!! or else my kid would get a failing grade at the last minute the say was cancelled....i called off work! like i don't have anything else to do!! I remember with another concert the morning of i received a text stating that the children had to wear pastel shirts and black slacks..........so i have to go out and buy clothes at the last minute? How come i wasn't alerted a day, 2 days before a week before?

I have been a Cornerstone/WPA parent since 2006 and 4 of my children have attended this school. Sad to say that my children WILL NOT be returning in the Fall of 2015. I have witnessed a dramatic change in the atmosphere of the school from excellent (Cornerstone/Private) to just terrible. During the time this school shifted to Charter, I was willing to stay and stick it out but now I wish I had transferred my kids to the Nevada Campus. A lot of the children are wild, rude, and unruly. There have been so many changes to the staff-Every time I turn around there is a new teacher-some have only stayed 1 year for whatever reason. Security Guards being fired left and right. Every morning I come in, there is someone different at the desk. You get to know who's protecting your children and when you enter the school and that person is no longer there, you're just like well who is this now?? The parking lot is horrible! In the a.m. AND p.m. Rude parents, Loud and Vulgar music blasting. I've witnessed verbal incidents in the parking lot during drop off. The climate has totally changed and I'm just not feeling this school at all. If you were a Cornerstone parent prior-then you understand where I'm coming from. A lot of the teachers are great (the ones that have stayed) as well as Mr. Cairo (who's leaving) and Mr. Dean but the atmosphere is too out of control for my taste. I'm transferring my kids over to the Nevada Campus where the environment is a bit more nurturing and sane.

I think that some of the teachers need to learn how to work under pressure. What I mean by that is, sometimes the teachers show their students that they are frustrated. I sat in one day to see how the class act because the teacher sent out an email stating the students were having behavior problems. The teacher did not have any control of her class at all. My child does not have behavior problems so it will be hard for her to excel if her class is not under control. I do like the school academics and I can see that my child is exceeding. The school is bad with communicating things in a timely matter. Everyone is not able to provide the things that their child may need as soon as the information is provided. Overall, I do think this is a good school. I have not been in a situation when I addressed something and it was not resolved. The staff is friendly. The principal and dean are awesome! My child will continue to attend this school until she enters High School. I also like that there is a lot of activities for the students to participate in.
