I like the fact that New Haven High School is a small school because you really get to know the teachers and they actually care about you. You also have a really good opportunity to play sports. At bigger schools it might be harder to make the team, but at a smaller school like New Haven you have a better chance of getting to play. Plus, we don't have to pay to play.

New Haven high school is a great school. The teachers are committed to their students' learning. Many stay to run free after school tutoring for all students who want the extra help. The school atmosphere is supportive, inclusive and allows for my daughter to feel comfortable and happy to go to school. She feels suppoted in her academic and career goals. She knows she can and will achieve them. She takes all the required classes and has yoga, sign language, band and a community college class too. Thanks to Mr. Hibbert our band and choir program was just named "one of the best communities for music education in the U.S. I say it's one of the best communities for all education!

This is a school that is doing right by their kids! The current administration is working hard to give these kids opportunities that other neighboring districts do not offer. The early college and renewable energy programs are positive college experiences that put them ahead of the game! The teachers give 100% plus, and really want to see our children succeed. There are also many club activities and sports programs available. I was hesitant to send my daughter because of past reputation, but I really couldn't be happier with the school. My daughter takes honors classes and a college course, and has plenty of help available when she needs it. Nice job New Haven!!

I love the small town feel of New Haven Community schools. My kids started off in pre-school at New Haven and graduated from New Haven High School. They are both in College. The teachers and staff were always dedicated and supportive. There were a few changes over the last few years with the staff, but what school District doesn't go thru changes to make things better for their students. I was very involved with my kids and thoroughly enjoyed being a Class Advisor and being part of a few Committee's to help make decisions to ensure a better future for the students.
