My son has a severe milk allergy and chronic asthma. He also had some separation issues throughout kindergarten. His teacher, Mrs. Nieporte, did a wonderful job assisting me in the fight to get him to school every day and keeping him motivated. She also made sure he never had a snack that he was allergic to and was helpful when he required breathing treatments during school hours. I wouldn't have made it throught the year without her help!

I have twin boys that attend Pullen. Both boys are treated great by their teachers and the staff. One of the boys are in the special needs class, but the school is very much into intragrating the special needs children in regular classrooms so that all the kids see how to deal with all types of other children and keep social. This is very important. The only thing I wish would be that the parents got more involved with activities and in the classrooms more. But we all know it is hard to do sometimes. Thanks. Parent

I have been involved with Pullen school since my oldest son was in kindergarten. Through 4 sons and about 12 years with the teachers and 2 principles, I have had a very good experience. The teachers my sons have had have been with pullen for many years and I have been able to 'know' them from prior years to know who my child will be spending the year with. I have not had the opportunity to get to know the new teachers due to the reconstruction of the 5th and 6th grades, but every teacher my children have had in pullen has been a great experience trying to problem solve and do what is best with my sons individually instead of clumping them into the category of expectations of their brothers from prior years.
