my daughter was behind when she first attended this school. she is now in the 2nd grad and reading chapter books her math is exceptional and she loves her teachers. the principal is great and very interactive with the family's. the school keeps the kids active with outdoor activities and have a hands on approach. I am very please with the growth my child has received attending this school. I feel that the 7 rating is not accurate and should be at least a 8-9. also my daughter did have a problem in 1st grad with other children bullying, I spoke with the teacher, and the problem was resolved immediately, its the no non-since that I like about this school, they make all of there children feel like equals. would recommend to any parent.

Your child will be subjected to a mess of mediocre, stripped down curriculum, which is devoid of foreign language or any advanced placement classes, particularly if they are identified as having a disabilty of any type. If your child is recommended to transfer here for one of their special programs, consider the decision only after observing the classroom personally, for more than a walk through tour. An acceptable school if your goals for your child are not set high, otherwise be vigilant or keep looking for school other than this one which struggles to keep its barely average rating.

The principal is the best. Mr. B. works hard with the problem students. The parents also really work hard to make sure there are funds to do what we want. In general the staff is caring and compassionate, Denise and Julie in the front office are very friendly. The building itself is one of the nicest elementaries around. Some of the students make it challenging for other students with their behavior, but the teachers and principal work with all of them to bring out the best. Overall, you will find caring people from the top down
