Harperwoods is a very unorganized school, they loose most of the kids important information. Most of the activities are very poorly put together, and a lot of the teachers care nothing about if the kids succeed or not. I don't even know how this school is able to function year after year.

This school has really declined staring from the administration down to the staff. I would never allow any more of my children to attend. Finances they have but skills they have lost,.

This school is terrible!!!! It makes me want to kill myself just walking into it! Most of the teachers care about their students but others just downright don't care! It sickens me and all of my colleagues agree. The students are ill behaved and don't know when enough is enough. No home training, lack of attention skills and most of them don't want to be there. The students who do can't concentrate and can't stand the students around them. Most contemplate suicide and self harm because of it. A school is supposed to join students and teachers together, but this "facility of learning" does otherwise. This is not a school, is a prison!!!! I'm glad I pulled my child out of it

Harper Woods is a good school. It may not be the bast at times but we have improved as a school. We follow the I Can system with grading and it is the best grading system. Our teachers can be one on one with students but it does depend who the teacher is. When I first came there I cried because I though it was a ethnically diverse school but it wasn't. Overall the school is good. I like it so far. Just wish Hs and Ms weren't in the same building.

I am currently a senior at HWHS. I've read many of what you have to say and I also see that a majority of you are parents and I'd like to ask those parents a question. At anytime during your son/daughters time at HW were you ever actually at the school during the school day and see what the going ons of the school were? Because from what I have read I'd have to say no. I see many of you if not all of you blame the teachers and administration. well I can tell you that the teachers are great and they do teach. They teach the kids that want to be taught and don't have time to deal with the kids that don't because they have better things to do and to the person who said that the teachers and administration don't care about the African-American students thats bull
