"I used to love attending school but once I moved up to the high school I grew to detest showing up everyday. The only aspect of the school I enjoyed was the music department. Many classes at the high school are just busy work and as students we often refered to them as ""bull****"" classes. In addition to the poorly designed ""electives"" the staff that handles the scheduling and transcripts are entirely unapproachable. While I attended the school I felt like a nuisance whenever I entered that office. The best way the school could improve would be to fix the attitude problem with their staff and revamp the elective classes so they are up to date and offer skills the students can actually use in life."

Compared to other schools in the area Fruitport is much better. I just wish they were more lenient with the dress code, had much better food, and put funding into the arts. They give all the funding to the sports teams and the choirs, bands, and art programs don't get much funding. Our drama program was just cut.

Fruitport is a great school district and really cares about the students. I see a great deal of effort on the part of the staff and parents to always improve the quality of the educational experience.

I'm a junior at Fruitport and I love it! Like all schools it has its bad points but let s not go there. Teachers here truly care about our future and they'll do anything in their power to help us succeed. I used to be terrible in math but then I got an amazing math teacher who takes her time to help me, as well as the class. Teachers here make sure that all the students understand what s being taught, and even other students will take part in helping other students to understand the lesson being taught. If you're a student looking for a new school to go to then i whole heartedly recommend Fruitport. I didn't do so hot in school my first 3 years but the school never gave up on me and that means so much to me. I guess what is important to remember about school is that we are there to learn and to make a better future for ourselves. I love my school and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. I, without a doubt, recommend this school to all students. There are so many great things to say about this school but this box only lets me write so much. I really hope you choose Fruitport as your school because it really is a great environment to learn and succeed.
