This is my son's second year in this school. Kintergarden worked out great because every class has a teacher's assistant. We had a great K year. First grade is not so good. The classes are 26+ students with one teacher. The teachers are overwhelmed and the kids are suffering because of it. People in this area say this is one of the best schools but I second guess this. The teachers don't have the opportunity to be great. This whole area Salisbury/Fruitland suffers from over population and run down schools. The principal is really good but something needs to be done about the school problems in this area. Go private school if you can.

Overall, it is okay. Classes are very full, 27+ kids in some classes. Some teachers resort to bribery to get good grades (candy, toys, etc), but teachers are pretty good and seem to care about the kids.

I have to agree that the classes are a little large for kindergarten. My son has above average intellect, but he also gets bored very easily and could use a little more attention than what he is afforded. I don't blame the teachers because they are doing what they can with a lot of five year olds in one room. Hopefully, the school will figure out a way to keep the same small school quality that is expected by families in the area.

Excellent school, great teachers. Building is bit old, but very functional.

Our experience has been extremely positive! I do worry about the growth in the area and the class sizes increasing, but the staff and teachers are first rate!
