This school offers a fantastic dual-language program, preparing children for a multi-cultural society. Teachers are caring and the principal is always looking for ways to improve the program. They offer opportunities to attend many events throughout the year.

This is a special school. The teachers and assistant teachers are dedicated and create a positive environment for the kids. Additionally, the aftercare director is wonderful and clearly cares so much about each child. At home, my daughter talks about school and what they are learning about, and I love seeing her enjoy learning so much. Last but not least, the school is not just a building, its a community where parents and teachers work together to help our kids thrive.

The children bully other children, my child comes home from school crying many days and tells me. I feel that most times when addressing Principal Freeman she tries to fix the situation, but mostly it is false promises and nothing actually gets resolved.

I have two children in this school, and this is their third year there. This is the only bilingual school in the area, and it fits our needs. The teachers are experienced and dedicated. The school is still growing so there are a few things that I'd like to see in the near future, like a music program and a playground (both are in the works) but I like the fact that it is still small enough that all the children know each other. It feels like family and the diversity component is a valuable element to expose my children to. They are happy at ABB school and I hope I can keep them there for the years to come. By the way, it's one of the most affordable private schools in Baltimore, and a bargain when you take into account that the children are receiving a bilingual education. My children read and write in both English and Spanish with no problem. And I speak Spanish to them all the time, so I'm confident that they will be strong bilingual professionals. Thank you ABB School!

At ArchBishop Borders, during the initial parent teacher visits prior to the beginning of the first semester, the parents had an opportunity to review the curriculum with the teachers. I was pleased with the ample opportunities to gain insight from the teachers and how approachable they were from the onset. I did however have concerns about the curriculum not being challenging enough for Pre K-4 as my daughter had already, at that point been reading more complex material then they would experience during the school year. However, the added challenge of another language curbed my initial concerns. The teachers throughout the year have remained the most important part of the equation for me. They assisted me through understanding the schedule, homework assignments, identifying behavioral concerns and much more. Some of the teachers also utilize class dojo to provide the parents with additional information and insight to their children's behavior while at school a welcome addition. The teachers are usually available for a 15 minutes after dismissal to answer quick questions and scheduling a conference or visit isn't difficult.
