I graduated from WHS in 1979 and this school did a wonderful job of preparing me for my future at that time. I'm currently a Senior Electrical Engineer and I've so far enjoyed a 35 year continuous career in my field.

WHS has everything. College level athletic coaching, college level academics, good food, you name it. The atmosphere makes for a successful high school career if you take advantage of it. #PackTheDen

The teaching staff is impressive. However, the school (town) is very homogeneous. Students are not accepting and those kids who are even a little different are subject to bullying. The "zero tolerance" bullying policy is a joke, since, the administration is total oblivious to it. Bullying has become a way of life at the school and sadly students have just come to accept it. Parents are also extremely competitive which fosters an environment where this type of behavior is tolerated. Grades, clothing labels, house sizes are more highly valued than the character of an individual. I am very disappointed.

The school is lacking in many aspects. The administration is very inexperienced and promotes values that are "win at any cost". There seems to be a great deal of bullying that takes place both in the classroom and in sports. Students who need more support are ridiculed by teachers and students alike. For the taxes I pay, I am truly disappointed in the quality of the school. Overall I would give this school a D.

On paper this school looks good, but the environment is very lacking. There is almost no support from teachers or guidance; they do not care for the child's individual progress. Also it is very sink or float culture. The head of the school Sean Bevean is a useless principal and the dean of students Katie Richard and Vice Principal are the same.
