We've had our three children at this school for 5 years now. We started our eldest at a very well respected private school, and though they had great teachers there, they didn't have the ability or mandate to cater to academically advanced children. Our child wasn't challenged by the work and became very bored. It wasn't until we had our second child tested and discovered that she was gifted that we had our eldest tested and found out the same. We moved our children to Sage and have been very happy with our decision. They have peers that think it's cool to be smart and the teachers keep the students' interest by going deep into subjects and giving them challenging work, rather than just giving them large quantities of repetitive work.

We are a very happy Sage School family. Even though we live 20 miles away we continue to believe in the Sage School and its mission, and we are delighted with the results it has produced in our kids. The Head of School is transparent, progressive in thinking, and very supportive of gifted kids both in areas where they strive and in areas where they struggle. It’s great to find a school where kids can stretch each other in a supportive and caring way and where behavioral distractions are addressed in a prompt and supportive way. We have seen significant intellectual growth and psychosocial development in both kids. And we appreciate the computer-based learning and guidance that is offered as well as the school’s emphasis on creating a community of caring.I love this place. And more importantly, both of my kids do too!!!!

Excellent experience! My daughter is thriving and enjoying herself, and we are very satisfied with how the school adapts to and addresses various learning styles, nuances, and academic levels (even within one class). The leadership is superb and communication with parents is highly open and effective. There are many opportunities and resources to help students and parents alike grow. It is truly a school that understands and addresses the needs of gifted students. Even if there is no standard IQ score required for admission, the school still has admissions standards that recognize the fit of students for the mission of the school. I highly recommend Sage for families of intellectually excited and curious students, whether in the arts, humanities, or STEM areas. What a gem of a school!
