Highland Christian School Ratings & Reviews
My child started preschool at Highland in Feb. of 2012 and she has learned so much and the staff are amazing. I really love this little school and if you want a good Christian education this is the place. My daughter came home telling all about Jonah and I was amazed what a 4 your old knew. I give this school 5 stars. I
I was a guest speaker where I presented Scientific Evidences of the Biblical Genesis Creation and Against Evolution. I was quite pleased to see that the 5th through 11th graders remained engaged and asked questions for about a two-hour duration. It is quite unusual for students to stay quite and on task for so long. Many of the students asked questions and made comments, even after the presentation. This was quite delightful to experience. I thought the staff was terrific too. J. Whalen, B.S., Animal Science/Pre-Vet Med.
My child had been to the public school for 2 years. He was unable to read when he started at Highlands. He began reading within a week of attending Highlands. I ran a girl's home in 2 other towns in KY -- so I dealt with the public school a lot. My oldest child attended a private school in another town. I have never see teachers and a school such as Highlands -- so caring. My youngest child went from failing to straight A's.
I am a parent with a child that has ADHD and they definately give individual time to the students so that she does not have to take medication. Anything you could want in a christian child, they will teach them.
This school is such a blessing to me and to others. Everyone knows everyone, we're a family only we're a school. Students always are excited and more than happy to welcome new students. Not only does Highland have loving teachers and great discipline but shares the love of Christ. So if you're looking for a school choose this one. =)
