Inspire Academy - A School of Inquiry Ratings & Reviews

I absolutely LOVE Inspire Academy, as do my children. My daughter has attended since kindergarten, when Inspire opened here in Muncie; and my son started kindergarten this year. They both enjoy getting up each morning and going to school. The staff and teachers are amazing and go above and beyond for their students. Smaller class sizes means more one on one time with student and teachers. My children are always learning something new and are so excited to tell me everyday about what they learned at school. Field work is such a great way to learn, it gives children real life ideals and experiences that they will use later on in life. What better way for a kid to learn about growing vegetables and planting a garden than getting out there themselves and getting their hands dirty? As opposed to reading about it in a book. This is just one example of how Inspires way of teaching is so beneficial to students. I refuse to put my children in a different school. I strongly disagree with this rating and feel it needs to be updated as Inspire is now pre-k through 8th grade and they now have a new and improved school building where they will continue to grow and achieve.

My children (1st grade and preschool), love Inspire Academy. My hardworking first grader tends to catch on quickly to new material and is allowed to learn at the pace that is best for her. On top of that, her teacher utilizes her to help students who are struggling. I love that students are encouraged to do their personal best and that they are taught to help others rather then look down on or judge them.My preschool has had nothing because praise for his teacher. He has so much fun learning through play. He could not be more excited or more prepared to start Kindergarten in the fall. There are so many things that I love about this school. The focus on building character, the dedicated, hardworking staff and teachers, the recognition of students for more then grades, the sports programs, the diversity, student-led conferences, how welcome I feel as a parent to be involved in the classroom and school. I could go on and on. If you're looking for a great environment for your child to grow, look no further!

If the rating from the state and website doesn't say enough, i don't know what will.

I am a state-certified teacher with a degree in Elementary Education, happily employed at Inspire Academy, and in response to an inaccurate review, I would like to make it clear that all teachers at Inspire Academy are gainfully employed and required to be state-certified. The teachers at Inspire Academy are the most devoted teachers I have ever worked with and are always working to ensure their students grow in all 3 dimensions of student achievement: character & engagement, mastery of knowledge and skills, and high-quality student work.
