This school is horrible, as someone who grew up in the Lutheran Schools. No leadership at this school at all. The principle has no idea what it takes to run a school. All they care about is getting more voucher students whose parents don't volunteer. They have totally ruined what making a private school so special is. So glad we switched!!

I have several girls at Concordia this year and I have not heard one complaint. They all love the school and are excited to be in a Christ centered school. They all made friends very easily and their teachers are very nice. The school as a whole was very welcoming towards the new families and they are always working to get them involved with the church and the school. Many wonderful volunteers came out to provide mentorship for new parents with any questions or concerns. I have been very happy and greatfull for our experience so far.

This school needs some work on personality for sure. Because they are private there have no IEP. They have 0 ability to help struggling students. My son's third grade teacher pushed him. She retired the following year but still plays a major roll in the school. . . No one would listen, cause she was a matriarch at the school. My husband seen it and called a meeting with the principal in which excuses were made. But we thought we were being over protective so we allowed him to continue. In fourth grade the principal called a special meeting in the church SPECIFICALLY to tell parents to be more accepting of voucher seeking families, this did not go over well. We were members of the church, one day my husband kept track of how many time the sermon came back to tithe.17 times. 17 times in one, hour long church service. The last incident I am choosing to share (out of all of them) is the most disturbing to me. One of the kids who treated my son poorly told him that his dad killed himself because he didn't love him or want to be his dad. I went to the school with complaint, and they said they would "look into it". OK .. A week later I called to check on it, cause they were always so efficient to punish my son, and the PRINCIPAL told me that he indeed found out the kid said it. But my son was name calling as well. So he excused it . . If it was my voucher adhd son, we would have been suspended for sure. But not this kid, It was STILL my son's fault. This school is filled with judgemental hypocrites. I absolutely would not recommend this school at all to anyone. Especially not to voucher families. The woman in the office is so rude. She is nurse, secretary and attendance. She is rude and treats everyone like an inconvenience. Please do not submit your child to thus treatment. Tithe tithe tithe give us give us give us. "It's God's money, your lucky he let's you keep 90% of it" .. That was said during a music program.. OK if I continued to list everything I would never get anything done today. Finding what works and doesn't work for my son has been a struggle. This school never once made me feel as if they were there to help me figure it out. After I withdrew him in the middle of the year, we found out he was extremely far sighted and couldn't see a thing. They weren't even interested in helping me figure out what was going on with him. They offered 0 support.

My girls absolutely love going! The teachers and staff make you feel like a family member! It has also brought our family closer to God. Our girls have made great friendships and I wouldn't have it any other way!

Concordia is simply put, amazing. A caring, Christ oriented school that offers such a well-rounded education. We have 2 children at Concordia, and another that will also attend in the coming years.
