No good!!! Children are not learning at their grade level. Teachers are not teaching; too busy spanking kids. The kids are allowed to play inappropriate games on computers all day. Most of the staff members are related and no one is being held accountable for providing quality education. Principle is always making negative statements about black people in front of the students even though 100% of the staff and students are black; teaching kids to hate themselves. Worst school ever unfortunately.

Principal did not like being questioned about anything even simple questions about field trip payments or activities, I soon realized he did not know most of the snswers to the questions and thats why he was very unapproachable and defensive about small things. The children learned very little and the atmosphere was very choatic which is very unexpected for such a small school. The children did not get books until the end of the yesr and the $300 books were almost untouched. The school couldb be greatbc of the small class size but it is no better than a run- of-the-mill public school.

Teachers give too many fTje teachers give too many free days. The administration is hard to contact. The principal is not approachable. The children came home wiyh work books that were almost never written in and children did not recieve very expensive books until the school year was almost over. The teachers played inappropriate music and movies which was a shock because it is supposedly a Christian school but it did not implement Christian values in all forms of media, conversation, communication. My child knows less now than before starting this school.

My child came to SCA behind in math, science, and history. The public schools were trying to make her repeat her grade due to this and poor state testing. SCA worked with her, brought her up to speed with her studies, and now she is a grade level ahead of most of her peers from her previous public school. They have also helped her with building her confidence and worked on behavioral issues. I absolutely love this school and would recommend it to any parent with children that are failing in a public school setting.

Several studies have shown that reducing class size increases overall student achievement, especially for younger, disadvantaged children. This is proven true at SCA! My son is no longer feeling ashamed for not being the smartest in the class. He is more confident and enjoys learning again. I am amazed at what a great difference the school environment makes. When the teacher cares, the results shine through in the student's work. I love this school!
