O'Keeffe is a special, and dedicated team of teachers, staff and leaders; that always focus on what is best for students. Instruction is at the heart of the work done at O'Keeffe, but social emotional health is also important in our school. From extra curricular activities like ballet, gardening, basketball, dance club, and homework help, students are supported in so many ways. Assemblies, special performances as well as parent engagement nights are a few ways that the parents and community are encouraged to be involved in the school. Teachers continually try new methods and approach students based on their needs.

Worse since Bankhead it will continue getting worse because the principal doesn’t even communicate with parents nor does her staff knows how to talk to the child and parents

My child transferred into this school the middle of 6th grade and the bullying began! The principal, both AP's, and the rest of the staff are ill equipped to handle bullying. There was no intervention for the bullies, which happen to be MANY! The school instead decides to "counsel" the bullied children. In my book, as well as MANY other parents I have teached out to, this is backwards. The bullies are treated like royalty when the bullied children are treated as if theu have done something wrong. The staff is more interested in their popularity with the children than these childrens well being. This school need another revamp quickly before someone gets hurt.

The after school programs have really increased my children's knowledge and they are excited about going to school. My daughter is valedictorian of her 2015 graduating class and my son is a straight A student. Whice is not only a reflection of me as a parent but also the teachers and curriculum at Okeeffe

I have two children that attend O'Keeffe and I think it's an excellent school since the over turn the staff are very helpful and respectful. The teachers are very nice both of my children like to go to school and they come home happy I think it's a safe environment. And the principle is doing a great job.
