Hales offers, small classes, good academic teachers and they offer many sports andactivities. Recently, the school has gone coed so with the addition of girls, hopefully the population , course offerings and actvities will grow. I have a son who is a sophomore now and academically, he has learned a lot. The school is safe and staff professional. I have a daughter who is in 8th grade and I plan on sending her here as well. The tuitiom is more affordable than Dela Salle, Mother McCauley and Mt. Carmel. Hopefully more girls will attend and liven the culture.

Judging by the very first Commenter, who spelled ridiculous, rediculous, maybe he or she would have fared better if they had gone to SOME school. ANY school. Seriously my son attended and graduated Second Honors from 2001 and graduate 2005. I watched them build that school as a little girl and it was always my dream that if I had a son, he would attend. He did and was admitted to Tuskegee Institute in Alabama. Long story short, this is not a school like those elite Prep Schools on the East Coast but it is viable and I liked the teachings, the wonderful educators, the class size and that fact that I didn't have to worry about Public school as much. To me it was a very nice experience, even though he did not want to be in a school with all boys lol.

Hales need to close its doors. The academics in the school is rediculous. More than half of the students had to complete summer school in 2010 in multiple subjects. The host school for summer school wants to close their doors to Hales students in the summer because Hales is failing to educate their own students during the school year but is receiving the tuition.
