It's been ok except that if you want you students to respect the dress code. Then HR director Monique Webb-Papia should learn how to dress proper not showimg everything with the tiny dresses that she wears. These are high school kids they see everything. ABF

Aspira really cares for the students. They have good teachers, counselors and after school clubs to help students prepare for college and stay away from the streets. I love the Robotics, Art and Leadership Clubs. There are many Clubs. The High School Soccer Team won the Regional Championship.

Aspira is a wonderful organization and charter school network. I am awestruck by the people of this organization, and the passion with which the work is approached. The executive leadership, principals, teachers and staff work tirelessly to support the students, families and people of the community. It is refreshing to know that the Aspira community acknowledges my child as more than just a number. They have created an environment where students enjoy coming to school and where excellence is the norm, not the exception. I am beyond proud of the choice we made to send our children to Aspira.

The students at Aspira Charter School work hard and play hard. They have won the O'Hare Network Soccer Championship in both 2014 (boys) and 2015 (girls). The 8th graders visit Washington DC and New York as part of their class trip. They offer leadership opportunities for kids in preparation for high school and beyond. Their graduates go on to some of the most prestigious high schools in the city including Aspira Business and Finance High School, Aspira Early College High School, Whitney Young, Lane Tech, and Northside College Prep.

ASPIRA's Charter Schools provide a wonderful learning environment for young people. Every school has a space that welcomes ALL learners. While my child is not yet eligible to enter these schools, I've had the opportunity to connect with staff and parents and can see that everyone in invested in the success of their students. Students have a variety of classes that go above and beyond traditional curricula. At ASPIRA Haugan Middle School, teachers Skype in authors to connect with students and provide meaningful context to their books. ASPIRA Early College has implemented a credit recovery program to keep students on-track to graduate, and have also added Advanced Placement courses, in addition to their partnership with Northeastern Illinois University. The ASPIRA Business and Finance High School is preparing young entrepreneurs to be college and business-ready. Antonia Pantoja High School is a Level-1 School, providing students with opportunities to not only receive their high school diploma, but to move onto meaningful paths in college and the work force.Parents are engaged throughout the year, not only to connect with the principals and staff, but to receive trainings and workshops ranging from Health & Wellness, to navigating the IEP. I would recommend the ASPIRA schools to any parent that is interested in schools that truly welcome the whole family!
