the school always informed to the parents, about the students so they do it's work.

I used to be a student here at this school. I was a freshman during the 2012-2013 academic school year, however I recently transferred. Overall the school does try, however their lack of funding and motivated students really does the school an injustice. They constantly attempt to persuade their students to do better academically with a reward system. However during my last visit I realized that they did change things up a bit. The cafeteria is better now, so that's a plus. However the academics at this school are not that challenging and they leave the students unprepared for future endeavors in private colleges. Most students that go here end up going to the community college as well, which isn't the best of schools either.

Registration/transferring is terrible. I've registered two weeks ago and I got a false phone call that I'm enrolled. Staff is lazy and rude. Hardly anyone giving service at phone call. I highly suggest your registration advisor be fired. She doesn't do her job. I called her 4 times throughout the day, no call backs, no answers. This school is horrible with keeping up with paper work. At all the other schools I transfered to it took two days at the most for the paper work to go through and I started at the same day. This school sucks.

To the student who complained about the grading system...you're not imagining things. It's bad. It's difficult to understand, and it favors students who don't do homework. After using this grading system for just one semester the failure rate dropped significantly, but not because more students are re-doing tests and quizzes. It's mostly because missing assignments don't hurt the overall grade. My daughter never does math homework but still manages to get A's. Why? Tests are worth a huge chunk of the grade and she can keep re-doing big assignments until she gets the grade she wants. There is something incredibly wrong with this system.... More parents need to speak up about this. It's hurting our kids and degrading the quality of our school. The teachers genuinely care about kids and my daughter has had some really great educators. However, the district leadership is just plain awful.

This school has its good aspects, but I'm sorry to say that they are outweighed by negative ones. The educators themselves do care. All throughout high school, with few exceptions, I have had the privilege of having the most caring and involved teachers. With that said, the rest of the school's greatness is debatable. I would like to bring several details to attention. 1. Hoodie Cart - basically a shopping cart that the security pushes around during lunch periods, filled with students' confiscated jackets. Not only did it spread lice to several students in the past, but it looks completely ghetto. 2. Tardy Table - when students are late to school, they are forced to wait in line with other late students to get marked late, rather than their first period teacher marking them late. Once, I walked in to school at 8:01 and didn't get to class until 8:51 because of this line. 3. Security - oh, security. How they eloquently enforce the dress code policy. It is wonderful to hear "GET YOUR HAT OFF, NOW !" screamed at me upon entering the building in the winter time, as if it represented some gang affiliation with its fuzzy pinkness.
