the teachers are awesome, they are always willing to come in early and or stay late to help out the students. they are on top of getting all info out to the parents.

Fenton high school is a terrible school overall. With poor national test scores, and with economic, drug, and alcohol problems staining the majority of students deriving from the bensenville area, not much else could go wrong. Poor values are instilled within the majority of Fenton students, such as the general idea of drugs, partying, and sex over the one and only true answer to their economic problems, education. Their may be a few good seeds sprinkled in, but the success of a few Fenton students can not outweigh the failure to be educated and successful of the majority of Fenton students. The most daunting fact of all is the unbelievably incapacitating willingness of the faculty to let this continue to occur. I would know this as a current student.

I recently graduated from Fenton high school. I was so well prepared for college, I actually became a teachers assistant as a freshman at Loyola to help get other students up to speed in math. We had numerous Fenton graduates attend universities such as Northwestern, Stanford, University of Illinois, & Loyola, to name a few. I think the schools overall scores suffer because there is a high percentage of foreign students that are new to the English language. This diversity, however, is excellent in building a students social skills. If your child is driven, he/she will be challenged at Fenton and will be well prepared for college.

Fenton High really helped me prep for college, and i think its a great school if a student actually tries in classes, but if a student doesn't really try then they are getting less of an education than they can get out of Fenton High. Overall the School isn't great but its not bad its 'above average'.
