Rocky Mountain High School Ratings & Reviews

These reviews are difficult to write because the experience varies by classroom/teacher. I wish I could say "don't let a bad apple spoil the whole bunch" but unfortunately it is the teacher that abides by the laws and sense of professionalism and good character that are rare. I am mildly disappointed by the student behaviors, but quite upset by the lack of responsibility the school takes in correcting problems. I am nothing short of horrified about many experiences my student has had involving teachers abusing students and leading teenagers with hateful and discouraging behaviors. Our family has a wide array of experience in schools both public and private due to work related moves. This school has a nice facility, good resources, and is currently addressing its crowding problem. Unfortunately the most remarkable impression that it has left is: the stark contrast from any other place that we have experienced in that the teachers lack professionalism and integrity.

RMHS is excellent! We moved here from a very small town in Arkansas and the school that my child went to was extremely small. She was terrified to come to such a big school but all the students and staff made her feel so welcome. She is adjusting well to the school. The staff is very friendly to everyone and was very patient when we were getting my daughter enrolled. I highly recommend this school to anyone who is looking for a great place for their child(ren). The website is easy to use and the teachers keep up with the grades and attendance.

We came from a "great" school in Washington - this one is so much better! As always there are a few exceptions but the teachers and staff are Fantastic. From athletics to arts to academics, the programs offered to the students are way above average opportunities. My husband has taken a job out of the area and we have chosen to commute long distance so that our child can finish at this school. As hard as it is to move high schools, we would have transferred her if we didn't feel so strongly, that she has her best opportunity for a good future if she graduates from Rocky Mountain High School.

Brand new high school. Great teachers. Love it! The boundaries are close to the school. My freshman can ride their bike to school. Good commuity. Nice atmosphere. You would be very happy here.
