We have had our 3 children attend this school for over 10 years. Our entire family has made lifelong friendships! The staff supports students beyond the classroom attending sporting/music/drama events of their students. The staff are also caring, positive role models. We love this school!

The staff and administration deeply care about the students and genuinely love them. We have attended Cole Valley since Kindergarten and value the teaching and direction of the school.

We started each of our kids in 7th grade & have been a part of the Cole Valley family for 4 years. Our kids immediately thrived at CVCS! They LOVE our kids and although academics are important, it is a school after all, we feel that every teacher and every staff/support person, all the way up to the principal and superintendent, makes an intentional effort to get to know EVERY student and pour out their love for Jesus into each and every one! Small class sizes allow them to actually get to KNOW each student. Cole Valley definitely offers a rigorous schedule for those who need a challenge academically. My oldest, on his current track, should graduate from high school with enough concurrent credit and AP classes to equal nearly two semesters in college. God keeps paying back our investment several times over, in the spiritual, personal and academic development of our kids! Cole Valley families definitely comprise a larger "Cole Valley family" and are always there for each other. We are so blessed to be a part of it!

I am grateful for the partnership between staff and parents. It is a gift to have many other adults who love God and care for your student strategizing together to help your kids come out of school prepared not only academically but also relationally, spiritually, and socially. Sometimes another perspective and Godly wisdom can benefit our student more than parental decisions alone because we are so close to our kids rhat we are sometimes clouded by emotions. I am grateful that I have many good people prayerfully guiding my children through their teen years. My kids have told me many times how thankful they are for their teachers and how they feel encouraged by them.

As a parent of a child who attended Cole Valley for 8 years I wish to give you a caution. I am not here to hurt my brothers and sisters in Christ, I am here to help the public in their thought process about choosing this Christian school for their kids. The majority of teachers at both campuses are not trained educators, that includes most of the administration and most of the teaching staff. While most have felt led by the Lord to be at Cole Valley, having non educators and unskilled teachers instruct students leaves room for many, many problems. My child had their phone on continuously every day and in every class while texting back and forth to her classmates at Cole Valley in upwards of 450 texts per day. I have seen over 20 videos during class time of ridiculous classes out of control. Because the teachers are not educators, the students find that weakness and exploit it. Art, for example have about half of the students bussed over from the Idaho Learning Center who have special learning needs, where the special needs students were either eating toothpaste or dumping paint on one another. 7th grade math is combined with 8th grade because you just repeat the math again the following year. My child wrote 2 papers in writing class over a 7 month period. The books in 7th grade science were all different editions, and the teacher was googling how to do the science experiments because she had never taught science before and there is no curriculum. This upcoming school year this same science teacher is going to be teaching writing/literature for all levels of 7th grade now with no English teaching background or knowledge. My child went into the public school system and was evaluated over a period of months to see where she was educationally. Please….if you hear anything at all…hear this….kids from Cole Valley are overall BEHIND and they are NOT ahead of the public school no matter what you hear or read. My kid was evaluated independently and through the public school system we were told that she missed key foundational concepts from 5th, 6th , and 7th grade years and that this was a common thing the public school sees from Cole Valley transfers.
