There are specific teachers I am particularly fond of, but in all honesty, I've felt trapped to leave. I didn't want my kids in a public school, and CVCS was the closest for my kids to attend. I was renting and had to fulfill my lease, but now that I'm purchasing a house I'm moving my kids to another private Christian school. While CVCS boasts of new students every year, if you look into their records they've had a great exodus of students that don't stay more than 6 months to a year because of leadership. There needs to be a big overhaul amongst leadership and crucial issues that parents have been bringing up for years (bullying, special-needs programs for our kids, the professionalism of leadership (there must be a disease going around that prevents them from returning calls), the safety of pick-up and drop-off, among many other issues needs to be top on the list of concerns. I must say that there is little respect for Mrs. Crager amongst parents, and an actual fear that due to her ignorance and inability to act/respond/help parents and the concerns of their children, she will put our children at risk. Once again, something must be done about pick-up in the afternoons. So, how do I rate it on a scale of 1-10? A two at best.

Terrible. I would look at all other Jesuit schools before signing up for CVCS. It's almost double the cost, it lacks technology and efficiency, and your student will fall behind most public schools within weeks of starting.

I loved attending Cole Valley. Some of my fondest memories are from this school despite only attending for 2 years in high school. Teachers genuinely care for students, amazing friendships are built and the academics are continually improved and made stronger each year.

We couldn't be happier that we changed schools and have our kids at CVC. The educational standards are high; students are challenged; communication is great; etc Best of all...our kids LOVE the school, staff and students! Something that has spoken volumes to us is that our kids have said that the spirit at CVC is amazing and that there is a genuine love for the Lord here. Students are not made fun of for being a Christian; instead it is a place where their faith is challenged to grow not only through academics but in their day in day out lives being encouraged to be who the Lord has designed them to be and impact the world with their God given strengths. If you have been thinking about sending your children to Cole Valley, don't think about it anymore- just do it...you will be happy you did!

Words cannot express how satisfied I with Cole Valley! A year ago we moved our 12 year old daughter from public school to CVCS. During the past year, we have seen her grow in confidence and find her to be so much happier than she was in public school. Class sizes are small and students are held accountable for their actions. As a public school educator myself, I can attest to the fact that the Cole Valley staff goes above and beyond expectations academically, socially and spiritually.
