The school seems to be making changes, such as replacing some teachers. However, they lack organization. They have far less students than other Gwinnett County High Schools making it concerning for their lack of organization.Their rules are a little overboard and the school lacks money in the extracurricular activities. The cheerleaders aren’t able to have cheer camp with colleges due to funding however, their cheerleading prices are roughly $400 more than other schools that offer more to the squad. I also do not like the fact that they want $1000 for football and basketball season. Your child will have a guaranteed spot for football season but must tryout for basketball season in order to participate. Note if your child does not make the cheer squad for basketball season, no refunds will be given although you paid for both seasons initially.

My experience with Shiloh has been great with teachers. My son graduated this year. The school counselor Dr. Williamson was Awesome. Whatever I needed she was available to assist. If it took her a little longer than normal to get back to me she apologized and made sure we were taken care of. My son's teachers were also AWESOME with getting back to me when I voiced concerns.

The counselors and some of the teachers could careless if the students pass or fail. The counselors do not communicate to the parents if your child is in danger of failing. They are there to just collect a paycheck!! There is a lack of administrative support and are not resourceful at all. When you reach out to the counseling department, Ms Simmons continually transferred me to a number that just rang then hung up. I have been inquiring about the AP exam and still have yet to receive a response. Not a good school at all!!! Its discouraging for the parents I can imagine how the children must feel!!! This will be my last experience with the Shiloh cluster. Im pulling all my kids out!

The special education department is severly undertrained. Teachers and administrators are Facebook friends and allow their association to negate the needs of children.
