Most amazing school ever! Middle school is supposed to be a trying time for all- but has been quite the opposite. My child is successful and feels empowered and supported in all areas of learning. WE LOVE THIS SCHOOL!

My son attended private pre-school, 2 years of an excellent public school (that just couldn't give him the attention I felt he deserved and he fell behind), 3 years at St. Francis, 2 years of hybrid school, and we are SO HAPPY to be back at St. Francis for 7th grade. My son has processing and a couple other lighter learning challenges (no behavioral issues). Upon entering 2nd grade they placed him where they thought he should be, he had a hard time keeping up in math and they caught it, called a meeting and we switched to support math. When he was excelling in a class they wanted to move him up to be more challenged. The hybrid school was hard for him academically and it really hurt his confidence and he wanted to give up (now entering 7th). We left for a couple of years due to moving, job changes etc. He always attended summer school to refresh the basics and to see classmates for a smooth start. He LOVES the support of the teachers, small classes and really appreciates the attention academically, socially and to be able to do the work independently. I highly recommend this school regardless of academic struggles or not due to the small classes, structure and excellent attention to any issues (we are not complainers though). He did not have many friends at the hybrid school and he feels very comfortable at St. Francis and met new friends right away over the summer. Socially, I enjoyed meeting many parents and being involved.

The administration plays favorites, they recruit athletes from other schools and give them free tuition so the teams play better and make it further. How is that fair to the other students whose parents have to pay 20,000?! It's not fair and the school is definitely not worth that kind of money. This is a school for kids with learning disabilities and ADHD. They don't tell you that up front but it is. They give way too much homework and they don't let the teachers have any freedom in how they teach. Think twice before sending your child here.

My children have just finished their first year at St. Francis (grades 4 and 7) coming out of public schools, and so far, we couldn't be more pleased. They will attend again next year, and here is why: 1) The classes are small and the teachers get to know all of their students personally, and don't allow them to slack or work below their potential. 2) They don't just teach material, they teach students how to study and learn, and they make them accountable. 3) The curriculum is challenging and appropriate- the kids can be in advanced/honors classes, on-level classes, or support classes, depending on where they are at. And, when they struggle with something, the teachers reach out to them to see them for extra help during study hall. 4) The environment fosters positive relationships, has strong and involved counselors, and the kids seem to get along very well and with minimal drama (even with 7th grade girls). Perhaps next year we will feel differently, but so far, this has been an excellent choice for our children.
