A lot of people say that high school was the worst years of their lives. In this instance, high school was the BEST years of my life, thanks to BT and their great faculty and students. I was welcomed immediately when I walked in those doors for the first time, and I am so happy to have known that teachers were there for me when I needed them. I felt so supported. They also have outstanding athletic and fine arts programs as well as a good spiritual environment that helps form Catholic values. I would definitely recommend this school if you are looking for a good, Catholic high school education for your child. :)

This is like many other Catholic Schools in the area. They breed a group of kids that think they are better than others, solely based on the fact their parents are paying large amounts of money. I found the education at BT to be poor, but the sports are really good since more money goes into it. Sadly, the sports are only mediocre at best. I found the parents to be snotty and more co center with what they drive than their child's morals or manner of treating people. This is private, but don't be fooled, there is still drugs and inappropriate actions from both males and females at parties.

Having sent our daughters to the feeder school QA and then to BT we found the transition to high school was seamless. BT is a great school that is focused on academics, arts and sports. We had to move midway through high school out of state. I assumed another Catholic school in the town we were moving to would be as good, but I was very wrong and realized how superior BT was when compared to the school we are currently in that is more $ and has far less resources.

All three of my children attended BT. We never thought we would send our kids to a private school but when it came time for high school the size of the public schools were just overwhelming. We did not want them to get lost in the shuffle and wanted to make sure they had the chance to do what they wanted. I have read many of the comments regarding the focus of sports at BT but regardless if your child was into sports or the arts in a traditional high school with thousands of children the likelihood of them getting to participate in any team sport or in an drama production is greatly limited. Team effort is important as well as individual accomplishment. We do not live on islands and having the opportunity to try the arts, try drama, play sports really gave them a well rounded education. Before you go and get worked up about the sports, remember that your child is able to participate in the sports and in the arts at BT because it is a small school and not a mega high school. They leave this school with life long lessons and friends. They know their teachers and the teachers stay on them and after they leave many keep in touch. This is not likely in the larger setting. It happens but not to the extent it happens at BT. BT offers an incredible experience for your child as well as the family. We are very thankful now that our children are much older that they had such a great experience at BT. BT is a wonderful school and your children will reap many benefits from this experience.

My daughter really wanted to go to BT, and I was trying to be supportive of her intrinsic motivation. I blame myself for not critically evaluating the school better, becasue, we would have never chosen BT had we dug a little deeper. Blessed Trinity has an academically toxic bias towards their sports programs at the cost of any other programs. The drama team had an unprecidented victory at a regional competition, and were invited to the national competition. The director, Frank Moore refused to provide any resources to make this happen. In my first interaction with Mr. Moore, I asked about the debate team (our daughter had been captain of her team at her previous school) and his response left me flabbergasted. He said 'as long as I'm here, we'll never have a debate team'. Wow okay, as long as I'm a parent here, you'll never see a single $ beyond our tuition. BT is absolutely the wrong school for any student who has a diverse set of academic interests beyond sports.
