I visited Berrien HIgh School this past summer with my son. My son was having a job interview for a football position at Berrien High School. I rode with him from Atlanta just for the ride. I used the time to drive around the community and to visit a real estate office in case my son got the job. I was impressed with the community and the folks I met at the school. We live in the Atlanta area and the prospect of someday having my son at Berrien High School was very exciting for my entire family. I hope everyone in the school community has a very exciting and successful year. C. Charles Duplantis

BHS is great! I'm only a freshman there, but it is wonderful. The lunches have definently improved, immensely. The teachers are absolutley the best. They all connect with their students, and go out of their way to give every student an equal oppurtunity to succeed. The student body is very diverse, but there isn't much seperations between them. 90% of the students get along well. Overall, I wouldn't want to go to any other High School!

Our school isn't perfect but even with all the constant change in leadership over the last several years our test scores have remained at or above RESA in many areas. If I have any concern it would be the apathy toward school and towards taking pride in what you are doing that I see from more and more students. It seems that the more opportunities we give students to seek help, tutoring, and remediation, the less willing some of them are to take advantage of these extra chances.

in my opinion the school has gone down lot. im a new transfer student to the school tis year, and i moved there because i heard that the shools were some of the best. but so far all i see is that the money is being used unwisely and some of the treachers should not be teaching because of the way they run their classrooms!!!!! maybe the new principle, mr. bateman can turn the the school around especially with the recent bomb threats of last year!! gavin sumner, a student

Berrien High used to be a all well rounded school to attend. Now the kids are having to ajust almost every year to a new principle, that is not fair to them. Some of the teachers do not need to be teachers with the way they handle their classes. Some thing a lot of improving.
