My son started out in the public school system and our experience there was a nightmare. Between IEP"s that made no sense for him, teachers who did not understand him nor want to deal with him and kids who bullied him we were at our wits end. He would have severe meltdowns several times a week and I would have to go pick him up from school at least 3 days of those weeks. The final straw was when at the end of his 2nd grade IEP meeting his teacher stated that my son had such severe learning disabilities that she felt he would never learn to read or write, much less function in society as a normal adult. Second grade! I went home that afternoon feeling hopeless and defeated and cried for my son. And then we discovered The Bridge of Georgia! He was able to attend the next year on an SB10 scholarship and I was beyond excited. It was an answered prayer. The staff at The Bridge are amazingly caring and dedicated and they help your child to learn on a level specific to their needs. His teacher is certified in ABA therapy and when he had a meltdown the second week of school she handled it in a way that showed him that she loved and cared for him and that she understood! This is his 2nd year, 4th grade, at The Bridge and he has not had a meltdown since! She showed him he his a smart young man and helped him to excel! Now near the end of his 4th grade year he is exceeding all expectations in learning and social skills. They are not all about end-of-the-year testing as the public schools are. They teach academics as well social skills and functioning as a productive citizen. He has become a peer model and has learned empathy and compassion for his classmates. He volunteers to help other students and works so well in a group, something he has never been able to do before. He now has real friends, and he just went on his very first play date with one of his buddies from school. And he is reading and writing!!! I am beyond pleased with The Bridge of Georgia. It is an excellent school and their future visions will make it even better. They work closely with the parents in improving the school and gaining input and suggestions on ways in which they can improve. Also as a parent of a special needs child, I have developed friendships with the other parents as we all understand each other. Most importantly I now have hope that my son's future will be promising!

My son started in this school this year in high school. He has done so well I wish we could have gotten with this school when he first entered school. The teachers are great. They work with all of the children individually and as a group. They offer all of the same courses as regular education does only with a flare. This school not only caters to the children but to the parents as well. They have taught me many parenting strategies for my son. I have made many friends this year from other parents. They also like to have parent volunteers to help out with the school. Most of all we have a fantastic leadership. They are always looking for new ways to help our children learn. I have seen so many milestones this year with our kids. It is so amazing to watch them grow and to learn new things. I would recommend this school to anyone who has struggled with all the other ways of trying to school your child. I look forward to next year and seeing even more learning and growth from our kids. I hope this helps and you come check us out.

My 10 year old son has been going to The Bridge for 3 years. He also went to another private school since the age of 3. He has excelled and thrived in ways we never thought possible since going to The Bridge. He LOVES going to this school so much and is SO excited to go there everyday!!! The children are so kind to each other and the teachers make sure the behaviors are addressed accordingly to your specific child and the situation at hand. The staff and teachers are awesome, as well as having wonderful parental support!!! I am SO blessed that our family found The Bridge of Georgia. It has been a major blessing for my son and our family.

My child has been to public school, and been homeschooled, and the Bridge has been the best fit for us. He is happy and has made so many friends. Good quality friends! And great quality education. The teachers have filled in the gaps that public school had left. They make sure that he fully understands concepts before they move on to the next subject. He has excelled at the Bridge!
