We have been at MBCA for 3 years & are very sad to leave. MBCA is the perfect mix of structure & nurture. In addition, there are plenty of great parents and students, no matter what personalities you find most comfortable.Socially, my children are both introverts; they can be overwhelmed by extroverted personalities. However, since attending MBCA, they have flourished & gained confidence with each year. I know, first-hand, MBCA ensures that each student is placed in the classroom environment where they will excel best. On 2 occasions, I asked for help from MBCA to resolve conflicts; on both occasions the issues were resolved promptly & adequately. Mrs. Lovett does not tolerate bullying.Academically, we were accepted into the top school of choice for next year. My son scored in the 70-80% in all areas of his ISEE. Both of my children are challenged with the curriculum at MBCA, & also encouraged/motivated to learn more. MBCA does a great job using the multi-sensory approach to learning (seeing, hearing, & doing) especially in STEM courses.Spiritually, MBCA does a great job using the Bible to teach behavior and life skills. Scripture isn't about memorization, it's about understanding & applying the information. Thanks to MBCA, my children are prepared for their future school and life.

This is a fantastic Christ Centered School. We have loved having our children in a school with small classroom sizes and lots of love and attention.

I think MBCA is a good school, especially if you're a Christian. I loved my teachers and thought they cared a lot about me and took the time to help me when I struggled. It helped me a lot that most of my peers were smart and motivated to learn because it made me push myself to do better even though it was harder for me. I had a good foundation in lower school, especially with study skills and how to keep myself organized, that I was able to take with me when I left. I came to MBCA from a public school where I had a terrible experience, so I was very happy to go to school where I already went to church and played sports.

Bullying is everywhere at Mt Bethel. If people donΓÇÖt fit into the East Cobb stereotype then they were considered outsiders. People would constantly talk behind peopleΓÇÖs backs and even to their face. Racism is also a big problem and the teachers and students and close minded. Throughout middle school I thought that the cliques were normal but it wasnΓÇÖt until I left the school that I realized how serious of a problem it was. If people left there group to sit with someone else people would freak out and talk about them. The schools also teachers no independence because many of the parents have to do everything for their kids. The administration either reacts and punishes too much or doesnΓÇÖt punish at all. The top priority disciplinary issues are so backwards because they put little things like standing up at lunch over bullying. This school is a terrible, racist, close minded, and backwards place to be. They lost A TON of students in 2017 yet they refuse to change. Everyone I was friends with hated the school too. DonΓÇÖt waste your hard earned money to send kids to this horrible place instead send them to a nice school with good people.

As a grandparent, I cannot say enough good things about Mt. Bethel! We were a bit skeptical when our daughter said they were going to put my grandsons in private school in East Cobb; after all, you settle in East Cobb for the public school system. But after seeing my grandsons thrive in their schoolwork and in their relationships with peers and adults, it was absolutely the best call my daughter ever made. We still support the school by directing our tax dollars to the GOAL scholarship program because the school was so good about providing financial aid when my daughter needed it. Mt. Bethel is truly a family, and Grandparents' Day was a highlight for us every year!
