When I bought my house I thought I was moving into a really great school district for my children. The last thing a parent needs to worry about at the school her children attend is if they will receive a great education and will they be safe in the school. When I was in middle school I felt safe, had many friends and great teachers. I was trying to give the same experience to my children. Moore Middle School does have some great teachers and some excellent leaders. However, there is a serious problem with bullying at Moore Middle school that needs to be addressed. We, as parents look for great leadership from the school staff to make wise decisions when it comes to our children education and safety. Parents it is our job to make sure our children are not causing the problems at the school. It is our responsibility to guide our children to be excellent students so they can have a great experience. The teachers can't teach if they are busy raising our children. We need to make sure our children understand there is no such thing as a free education. My tax dollars along with other hard working parents are paying for schools in this district and should be appreciated. I believe that the students that are disruptive in class, consistently bullying and are disrespectful to others shouldn't be the burden of the school, but to the parents. Those students should be removed from the school!

This is the first year my daughter has attended this school and I am not pleased with the outcome. The communication with the teachers about things that are important is far from lacking. I have sent emails and made phone calls to setup time to meet with the teachers concerning my daughters grades and got ZERO responses, but as soon as something bad happens, I get calls. I missed a call from her teacher one day by less than 2 mins, as soon as I call back, I was told that she will be given the message!! That was 3 MONTHS AGO!! Since she has been in this school, her grades dropped to Cs, Ds and Fs and no matter how many times we have made attempts to speak with her teachers, we yet to respond. We are looking at summer school and possible sending her to private school because this school is a WASTE OF SPACE!! The faculty has horrible communication skills and my child is suffering for it!!!

So far the taeachers have done a good job with my grandson, who lives with me. He is in sixth grade. They seem to care about the children and are very helpful.

This school is Terrible the school needs new principals and teachers quickly. I have witness what teachers say to the students. For example, shut up, and I don't give a ...., and even cuss words that should not be used in class. Teachers don't care about students until a principal walks in to observe the class . They just can't wait until that pay check. You would thick Richards is a bad school then your wrong . Teachers don't know what there talking about and principals don't know what discipline is even if the book was in there face. This needs to end soon or there will be real problems !MOORE MIDDLE SCHOOL SUCKS !!!!
