Our family journey began at NCCS more than a decade ago and that journey has been the most incredible experience that my husband and I could ever hope for - for our children. NCCS has provided a truly authentic Christian education for our children in an environment that encourages academic excellence and spiritual growth. The Leadership, Staff and Faculty at NCCS is solid and they will always have my respect and deep thankfulness for leading my children to a life long relationship with God through personal experiences in that decade. My children who both began NCCS in Pre K, who are now teens with college on the horizon are fully and solidly prepared academically to succeed in college and in life after college. Their ability to defend their faith is strong because of the heart and passion tools they have been equipped with in regards to their love for the Lord. NCCS is a wonderful school that our family is proud to support and I personally take great pride that my children will graduate from NCCS in 2020 & 2022. NCCS has proved to be everything we ever hoped for in a partner with educating and preparing our children for life. I recommend NCCS to anyone who is considering a Christian Private Education as it truly is a beautiful place to be a part of.

Our eldest daughter entered NCCS as a new 9th grader in 2016. This is where our family journey began at NCCS. We had such an incredible first year at NCCS, that we as a family decided to move all of our other 4 children into NCCS! The school, as a whole, is top notch, with excellent, high educational standards that challenge everyone our children at the level that they need! There are advanced levels for Math and English beginning in middle school and Academies for Business, Math/Science, Education, Ministry, Arts (Theater, Art, Vocal), Sports, that begin in 9th grade! These are our Magnet programs that are within our high school! Amazing for a small private Christian school to have that available to our children! From the moment you enter NCCS doors, you are greeted with christian music & genuine smiles from all you encounter! It speaks volumes when you see children ranging from K4 to 12 grade smiling & happy while attending school. High schoolers being friendly with the younger kiddos exchanging high fives and encouraging them to shoot a hoop before class even begins! There is a DEFINITE sense of community at NCCS where we all become one FAMILY! Having kids in lower, middle and high school, we have been able to assess all of the educational, social & athletic opportunities. The entire school uses GOOGLE classroom and calendar where information between student and teachers are shared; to include all homework, notes and lessons. Communication is exceptional at NCCS! Emails, texts, news letters, weekly posts are incorporated so that both students and parents alike, know exactly what is going on at all times. Whether it's the large variety of sports programs available to those beginning in lower school all the way thru to high school or the after school clubs to include Robotics, Mach 5, there is something for everyone to participate in. Overall, we have been extremely pleased with our experience at NCCS and are proud to call NCCS.. Family!

We started at NCCS when our eldest daughter was in Kindergarten and she is now in the 5th grade. All three of our children now attend NCCS and range from 5th grade to Kindergarten. A year doesn't go by that we are not thankful for the ability to send our children to North Cobb Christian. NCCS is a well kept, clean and student focused. The staff is exceptionally led and provided many opportunities for professional development. Diversity is held at high regard and a family atmosphere is always emphasized. The opportunities provided to each one of our children are unmatched.

Each school has good teachers and bad teachers. There are wonderful teachers in NCCS, that deserve respect and praise, but this post is not about them. The role of the school principle and administration is to work with the staff, provide guidance and supervision, and ultimately, remove teachers who do not care about their students. NCCS seems to be totally lacking attention to this area. There are several teachers that everybody knows about who do not explain the material and give arbitrary bad grades to the majority of the students in each class. For example, when the class average on a test is 67, this is really not students' fault, but rather a grade teach got for his/her teaching ability. While administration can easily see that there is a problem by looking at the average grade a teacher gives, or by reading emails that concerned parents send, they choose not to do anything to correct the situation. This is especially dangerous in High School, when "bad" teacher can have a negative impact on students transcripts and their future opportunity to get into a good college.

I hear the academics are great! What impresses me most about this school is it's commitment to diversity. When I walk into the school, it feels like a family, and I can't tell the rich families from the average families. It is so refreshing!
