Foundations has been life changing for our family. We transitioned our toddler from another daycare center about a month and a half ago. From our first tour, I have been impressed with their attention to detail, organization, and communication. My son was frustrated in the other school environment, not eating much, beginning to act out with peers, and was not "fitting their mold" as a student. At Foundations, we have seen him not only excel in his language and begin eating more, but he is so much happier. I truly feel that Foundations has changed him and our family for the better. The teachers are caring, nurturing, and understanding, and the activities and expectations for the children are age appropriate and engaging. There's an outdoor covered play area so children can have fresh air still when it is raining or cold, a gym with foam pit and trampoline, spanish classes, music class involving real instruments to investigate, and a lobby that is exciting for students to come in to. Every day, my child says "Bye bye mama! Love you!" and runs to his teacher or to another student to play. Thank you FFTF, for all you do for our son and family!

Our son is an elementary student at Foundations, and our experience there has been fantastic. Before enrolling at Foundations, he went to a public school (a “good” public school – rated 10 out of 10 on GreatSchools.com) and the difference between his old school and Foundations has been dramatic. The public school was very focused on their fixed curriculum, sitting in a desk most of the day, doing work sheets and doing homework. Our son reads and understands math above his grade level, and like a lot of young children, he doesn’t do well having to sit still in a chair for long periods of time. So the public school experience was a disaster for him. He became bored, frustrated and unhappy. And the public school’s response to his needs was uncaring and pathetic. But now…he’s in Foundations and everything is SO MUCH BETTER! He loves it. The school day starts in the gym jumping on the trampoline and swinging on the rope, playing basketball. All the kids are so nice, happy and ready to learn. The academic work is tailored to the individual child’s ability and interests, and involves touching, moving. The school day is engaging and interesting with lots of time outside in the fresh air, playing games, making friends, searching for bugs, enjoying being kids! Our son’s self-confidence has increased dramatically and he loves learning about math, reading, music, Spanish, etc. It doesn’t feel like work to him, it feels like fun. He’s on track for a happy, successful life. All the teachers and administrators at Foundations are nice, caring, accommodating and hard-working.

My son and another child that I know of went to Foundations from preschool to Kindergarten. When they transferred to public school they we're both placed in remedial English due to their inability to read at the same level of other public school children. School is too focused on STEM education and disregards basics of reading.

This school is amazing. I have a 15 month old in the childcare program and a 6 year old in 1st grade and they love it. My daughter, 15 months, has a big smile anytime she is dropped off; and every Friday my son always talks about how excited he is to go back to school! Class room sizes are small and the children get great individual attention. When your children attend Foundations you feel as if you are part of a family.

This school is the best! From the staff/administration to the programs for the kids! Our son is learning at a rapid pace. Their love and logic disciplinary system is a great way to give the kids structure while maintaining and building their self esteem! They always do their best to go the extra mile!
