My son just started going to Hubbard and is in kindergarten, he started out a little behind in certain areas and they had him caught up within weeks. My son absolutely loves going to school and his teacher and teachers aid are absolutely wonderful. Best decision I ever made moving to Monroe county for the school system.

SEHE was so bad I withdrew my children and quit my job so I could home school them. The teachers I encountered were not child friendly! They were there for the paycheck and nothing else. My 5 year old son was so frightened by his kindergarten teacher that he ran out of the building and tried to scale a fence to get away from this place. My daughter's 1st grade teacher got an injury that prevented her from attending school and my daughter had 6 substitute teachers in 5 weeks. There is no chance for children to form any kind of necessary attachment to their teachers so they can be comfortable in their learning environment. In addition to complete instability, my 1st grader had a 95% in second grade Math and was failing Social Studies. When I asked them to switch the emphasis from Math to Social Studies so she could catch up and bring her grade up they refused. The administration will defend their teachers to the very end and ignore the needs of children no matter how detrimental it is to the student or their learning process. If you can afford private school, DO IT! If you can home school, DO IT! If you live in these district lines, I truly feel sorry for your children.

MCMS and SEHES kids have been transferred from place to place, school to school creating incredible instability. The deterioration of this system is markedly noticeable. Teachers are moved at will and their attitudes toward kids and teaching are simply terrible. Moving my kids to private school

We have been at SE Hubbard Elementary School for a total of 12years and we have been extremely pleased. My husband and I are both products of private schools and have advanced college degrees. Our expectations are high and our expectations have been met. The teachers, specials staff, and administrative teams are excellent. Our children have enjoyed learning each year they "love their teacher". I must mention in this era of constant reduction, Hubbard has managed to become a STEM school, add computer labs, a robotic club, a chess club, band,a fitness club and all students have art, music, and phys ed weekly!!! We have no regrets in choosing to send our children to Hubbard!

Hubbard is a great school! We have 3 children that attend the school, and we have never had a bad year. Every teacher the kids have had has really challenged them to grow. Great staff!
