As a mother of two students at WHS my children have both had amazing experiences. One of my children is more academic, the other involved in more activities; both excelling at their own academic levels. I feel the guidance department is very involved from the beginning of their freshmen year to be sure they are on the right track for both their short term and long term goals. The teachers are truly there to help our students excel, they are available before and after school. The PTSO at this school is an absolute treasure. They serve as an academic booster club, cheerleaders to our facility and admin, support wherever it's needed. My personal experience has been amazing, this school as it all; academics, athletics, admin leadership, talented teachers, school spirit, school pride and for the most part great students. Proud to be a Wildcat!!

I'm a junior at whitewater and it's great! Everyone is very nice and accepting. If you see negative reviews, don't get too scared! The school is a great school, but every experience differs depending on the student. If your child is very driven, then whitewater is the school for you!

My daughter is a sophomore at Whitewater, and we have been so impressed with the quality of education she is receiving here. Her teachers have been excellent, and she's been able to get into all 5 of the AP classes she's applied for so far. She has a really nice group of smart, polite friends and she has been also able to make friends outside her group very easily -- no issues with snobs, cliques or social media bullying. Whitewater is the newest HS in the county, and it's beautiful and up-to-date. The principal, Mr. Rabold, has a very good handle on things -- the school is very safe and clean. We've met with our daughter's counselor to discuss her academic progress and college options, and her counselor was easy to schedule with and extremely helpful. There are plenty of extracurriculars and sports to choose from. Really outstanding high school overall.

We have three boys at the school and all are involved in several activities. The school work is challenging and teachers are very involved. Mr. Rabold, Principal, does a great job and attends most after school events. Administration is very involved and listens/appreciates feedback. My sons have AP courses and we volunteer for many of the clubs and booster programs. If you want your child to have the opportunity to excel and be involved in many activities, this is the place to go. My son received a full scholarship to UGA, so we are very happy with the teachers and the opportunities.

I went to WHS all four years of high school. It was an amazing experience. The teachers are very willing to help you, as long as you put in an equal amount of effort. The technology in this school is very up-to-date which allows for those students who do not do well with "traditional" note-taking to strive just as equally. WHS definitely prepared me for college. I would recommend WHS to anyone looking for a high school for their children.
