School should be a place where kids learn about academics while also gaining the skills needed to positively contribute to society. So many schools disregard education of the individual in favor of focusing solely on academics generalized by age. Fortunately, there are schools that recognize that each child is an individual and must be treated as such. The teachers at the Montessori School of Covington understand that each child has areas of strength and weakness, and offers education that builds up the well-being of the child as a person and not merely as a statistic. It is rare to find a school that still devotes its' purpose to true education of the individual, but that is exactly what the Montessori School of Covington does. Keep up the great work!

Could not be more pleased with the high quality education that this school provides. It is obvious that the teachers care about, and strive to ensure the success, of each of the kids. Even from our first observation it was apparent that this is a unique learning environment where the kids are happy to learn and be at school.

Robert Frost wrote "Two roads diverged in a wood, and I I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference." There is no better way to describe how I feel about my choice to send my son to this school. Many of the more traditional practices of education are failing; yet it is also difficult to choose a school with all of the conflicting information out there. I learned about Montessori and how many affluent people attribute their successes to their Montessori educations. How is this not more well-known? I also read about the broad spectrum of schools that call themselves "Montessori" and what to look for in order to make sure that I found the right one. I have no doubt now that my research was well worth it.

I am a former teacher. In my 3 years that I worked at MSC I felt as part of a family. This being a small school I felt supported by the parents and also by my coworkers. The director always invested in quality Montessori materials even if the material was need it as an extension to lessons. My assistant teacher was very knowledgeable and participated yearly in training. Continuing education was encouraged and supported every year by the head of the school. Students academics, social being and safety were always top priority and our monthly staff meeting always emphasized on how we can excel in serving the needs of our students. I am only not there because of the long commute; As a mother of two, I would highly recommend this school.

I have heard of so many kids hating school, but I am glad to say that my son is NOT one of those kids. He is eager to learn and always excited to go to school. I attribute so much of this to Montessori and this amazing school.
