I couldn't even think of any other place i would want my children to go to, this is the most amazing school/community i have ever been to. My children have the best teachers every year, they are challenged but having fun at the same time. If i could give this school 10 starts i would, i couldn't be any happier, this school is perfect.

My son transitioned to BLES from a top rated Orange County, SoCal school, and let me tell you, I don't think I could be happier with the move. He was in 4th grade for 2012-2013 school year and his teachers were AMAZING. My son has special needs (Autism), and the co-teaching system of the Special Ed teacher/General Ed teacher integration was flawless. I was very impressed with the teaching methodology and delivery format of Mrs. Lehman & Mrs. Ashadele's class. They were very engaging and I believe that their impeccable teamwork left an indelible imprint on all of their students. I volunteered twice a week and outside of the horrific copy machines, I immensely enjoyed my time at BLES. The principal is gracious and available. The attendance desk staff are exceptionally efficient, even on the days where there are a ton of people in and out for various activities. The only drawback I see is their "Specials" rotation. Physically Education every 8 days or so is not enough. I think a revamp of the Specials inclusion is in order. Otherwise, BLES is a blessing!

My daughter went to this school last year. For a child who is considered "normal" this school will probably be ok. But listen up!!!!!! If your child is not the ideal and "typical" child ......THEY WILL BE LEFT BEHIND AT THIS SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Our daughter spent kindergarten at this school. We always knew that our girl might have issues. Toward the end of the year our daughter began to tell us things. One morning she woke up weeping and not wanting to go to school. The teacher was making her leave the class everyday. . Later on our nanny was told by another parent (who worked with the teachers) that "the reason why our daughter was the way she was, was because she didn't get enough attention at home." And as it turned out, it was a lot easier to throw the blame on us. This past year we had our child formerly evaluated. She was diagnosed. She is ADHD, dyslexic with processing issues. The reason why "SHE WAS THE WAY SHE WAS" was because she has learning disabilities!!!!! These people are not qualified to treat kids with issues.

My daughter is in Kindergarten this year at BLES. Her teacher is amazing, and my daughter has made leaps and bounds both academically and socially. The new principal demonstrates outstanding leadership, and the faculty and staff exude positive energy throughout. Over the weekend, my daughter had an accident that has left her in a cast making it difficult to get around. This morning when I took her to school, I was met by her teacher, the principal, the assistant principal, and the school nurse . They had a plan already in place for my daughter to assure her safety in the classroom and throughout the school. They demonstrated such love and support, that I could see my daughter would be well cared for and still have minimal interruption with her learning environment. While I was not surprised by their willingness to go above and beyond for a student in their school, I continue to be thankful each day that my daughter is a student at BLES. It is an AMAZING school!!!!
