We have been at Omni for about a year. I love the foreign language immersion program. It is wonderful to see my child so excited about learning that he attempts to teach me Chinese as well.

We have been in Japanese at this school for one year and we love it. Our child started at Omni when she was 3 years of age and has been learning at such an accelerated rate, we think isn t she smart? but in reality it is the quality of the education. She is just being educated in a way that isn t the norm at most schools-teaching to her individual strengths and at her pace of learning. She is reading primer books, spelling, knows her numbers 1-100 in English and getting there in Japanese, can add, subtract, tell time (in two languages), identify Hiragana symbols, speaking Japanese (and she isn t in Pre-K yet). It has been a great experience for our daughter. I am excited that she will begin to learn Spanish in kindergarten so she will be trilingual when she graduates. The teachers and staff are dedicated to my child s success and it shows. Two days this week, she did not want to leave when I arrived to pick her up.

My son has been at OMNI for almost 3 years. People say all the time that their school is great or their child is smart. But to be honest, most of the time we, as parents, do not have an adequate frame of reference to make such assertions. So with that in mind, I offer what I hope is concrete examples of the type of academic rigor you can expect at OMNI. By mid-kindergarten year, my son could: name, recognize and describe all the planets; name the continents; distinguish among declarative, interrogative, imperative and exclamatory sentences; distinguish between common and proper nouns; identify possessive pronouns; and, regroup triple-digit subtraction problems. He knows multiplication, the constellations, and the three states of matter; he understands the concepts of erosion and evaporation. He can speak, read, write Japanese (and sing)! OMNI sets high standards and has equipped me, as a parent, with tools to support him academically. OMNI parents are educated and actively involved in their children's schooling, so I know that my child is being positively influenced by his classmates. It's an awesome school, especially for boys. The tuition is very reasonable for the value.

I am very impressed by how comfortable my children are with Chinese and amazed that they are now equally excited about learning Spanish. I am confident that by the time my kids enter middle school they will be functionally tri-lingual. I don't understand negative comments about retention and differentiation. My 3rd grader is literally doing math that 6th graders do. And my 1st grader is given assignments all the time that are at a higher lever than his peers because he is moving faster. When I drop my kids off at OMNI, I know three things: they are safe, nurtured, and are being pushed toward excellence.

OMNI is an amazing school! My child is attending summer camp at the school this summer. My 6 year old child has learned all about DNA and RNA and even understands the difference between them. My child actually extracted DNA from strawberries! I never did anything remotely like this when I was in grade school. My child comes home everyday excited about what he's learned in camp. I think it's a fantastic program with dedicated teachers and staff.
