Your voice will not be heard. The tolerance of bullying is not limited to student on student but Teacher on student. The school will not take a stand to change poor behaviors. We have bright children and thought we were signing up for a great experience and clearly we are disappointed beyond belief. The same style of teaching they started with is still in place. The students get away with coming to school drunk and it is a slap on the wrist. Bullying is "boys will be boys". The administration seems to be shocked and awed with some of the behaviors brought to their attention. If you attend, it is eat or be eaten. Be ready for bullying especially if your child is not a football player. Kids stay because they are brainwashed that it is the best and only school to prepare them for college. We are catholic and have supported catholic education for a long time. My children have been miserable her. Feel that they have to self teach themselves, add on the cost of tutoring, and you have to wonder is it worth it. Community coaches coach most of the sports and lack commitment to the program and you will see little to no development. If you are a mom with a voice good luck as your husband will have to do the talking.

There are literally too many instances of bullying to count at this school. But the one that especially stands out to me was my senior year when nine boys in my senior class were bullying me on Facebook in our senior group. I took screen shots and presented the entire conversation to the Dean of Students, who simply told them "not to do it again." There was no disciplinary action taken, despite these boys threatening my safety and even drafting a petition for me to not attend my own prom.

Racial and clique issues permeate this school. I wanted to believe the allegations were not true but our thankfully short experience with our daughter confirmed our worst fears. The saddest part is the administration and the parents don't seem t care.

most well rounded school in UGA! Athletics/spiritual/academics. These racial comments are ridiculous...see: Omari Hardwick. I would definitely send my child here...black, white, yellow or orange

We recently had our son enrolled in middle school here and we thankfully pulled him out ahead of high school. The parent post of February 21st 2015 is unfortunately spot on when it comes to minority students and it saddens me beyond measure. Our son was taunted, teased, and maligned by the other students and it was reprehensible. The contempt for minority non-student athletes appears to be ingrained into the culture of this school and parents should be on guard.
