The teacher could use ethics training. I feel like some teacher were passive aggressive with parent because of the demographic.

This school is very unfair. They never expel anyone for fights they just get sent home for 3 days. They curve all the test scores and when you work really hard all year they just do not care and give everyone a good enough grade to pass the grade even if you did nothing all year. If you have a gifted child such as in they are above grade level do not send your child here. They do not have any gifted student class and they just let you stay in the same class while using your brain for nothing. They say there are no 2nd chances in life but they give everyone multiple times to retake a test and do not celebrate anyone who does pass. Every one gets in trouble even when it is just 5 people the whole grade gets in trouble.

Please meet Mr. Tommy Robinson!!...Front Office CoordinatorMy two kids attend this school and my visit there today was to obtain a "letter of proof" to replace their social security cards from the Social Security and Administration Office.I received two "NOs" half way through explaining my reason for the visit. Mr. Robinson steps in and offers me the guest computer to fill out the request forms. He processed them and handed me the letters to my satisfaction. I drove back to SSA Office and my kids were approved for their replacement cards which are a requirement for the school enrollment renewal due early next month. Thanks to Mr. Robinson. He is passionate and takes great interest in people. He owns the office to himself, acknowledging and assisting parents searching for answers and directives.I am a Manager at Crowne Plaza Hotel and watching Mr. Robinson today interacting with parents, he has set KIPPVISION Brand standards higher even from a hospitality standpoint. He is a true KIPPVISION ambassador.I encourage Mr. Robinson to Please share his wisdom and will to help others

If your child struggles in any way as far as learning or grasping a concept quickly DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD TO THIS SCHOOL. This school does not have time nor do they want to help a child succeed if they have to put any effort what so ever into it. My child fortunately just ended eighth grade there and it was a real struggle!!!! at he bridging ceremony kids with GPA 3.0-3.9 were called to the stage.....there were only 10 or 12 of them out of a class of 85. Then they allow all the kids to participate in the ceremony weather they're being retained or not....JUST STUPID!!! getting a kids hopes up only to call the parent a week later telling them their kid is retained!!! The 8th grade math teacher,MR templeton is a JOKE!! Example, he had to curve his final exam grades because very few to none passed...no one learned anything alllllll year. He is not very receptive to parents that are involved because i myself will hold you accountable for your part in my child's education . My child even expressed that Mr Templeton gets frustrated when you ask the same question twice...obviously my child didn't get it the first time!! My child stated there was never anything positive coming out of Mr Templeton's mouth and thought it was funny to watch them struggle. Dean Davis, didn't see here in the school allll year. She's not very engaging with the parents like the old dean Mr Jones was. Then she had the nerve to want to cry at the graduation,a lot of parents found it very comical!! This school is the worst of the KIPP academys.....I would not send my child to this one BOTTOM OF THE BARREL. Also there is a high staff turn over and that says a lot about staff moral
