AYA is a school that provides excellent foundational learning skills for youth. The ptogram focus on building a great core learning , which eqautes to future success. The small environment encourages open learning and student unity with a Christ as a focus. Class sizes are small and engaging for the students. Parent support is greatly encouraged.

Speaking of Great Schools, AYA is definitely one! It is a small school that offers quite a lot to the students. As a parent if you involve yourself with more than just dropping off and picking your children up you will understand the Greatness of the school. The Christmas programs, Black History programs, International Day affair, kindergarten and 8th grade graduations are absolutely wonderful. In order for you child to return back to school during mid term exams and final exams you must attend a teacher/parent conference (this establiishes a personal rapport with your child(s) teachers). I am so glad that we decided to let our children attend. The principal is somewhat hard on the children if they are out of place but it is because he cares and wants them to be taught correctly and be challenged in a positive way and it teaches them a level of respect for themselves and others regardless to who they might be. If you are negative and like to find fault but not be proactive in finding a resolution in a positive manner then this is not the place for you. It is truly a secret that is hidden off of Moreland Avenue and it's a school that feels like a family.

We have two children one that attended AYA for two years and matriculated to a prestigious private school; the other who currently attends and has grown and developed from pre-k to fifth grade. AYA provided our kids with academic, social, and spiritual balance. With the limited Christian private schools in Atlanta, I would recommend AYA to everyone. If you are looking for a perfect school AYA may not be the place for you (good luck finding it); if you are looking for a school to guide your child through this journey called life then AYA is the PERFECT school for you. The firm and SOLID foundation that the school provides will allow our children to succeed many years beyond AYA. The good has always outweighed the bad and the bad situations never remained in that state they ALWAYS worked in favor of the student's well being. We love AYA!

I am a current parent and I met a parent that came to AYA in January 2012. As, I was introducing myself to the parent, giving her a little information about the school she did enroll her child and child loved it there; eventhough she wanted to attend public school. Speak to that child now and she will tell you that she is so glad that she came to the Christian faith and family orientented. It is a small community and I can appreciate when I have concerns and problems I can talk with the administrators and reconcile this situation. There is nothing better than to know that my child is known by the princiapl, staff, administrator's and students. Instead of talking down on the situation, try to help make it better. Change is sometimes good and we can over come things if we stand united. Of course we have clubs and organizations get involved and be a part of a growing situation or start a club or an organization that will put AYA on the map. Please give us a chance we are a work in progress and progression will succeed. If more parents were to invovled we would not be saying negative things about the school we would be giving praise; how about this give praise when it is do!!

My kids have been going to AYA for six years now. Every year I wish it goy better, it didn't. I feel as though the kids their are not even the same academically as with other private schools. They don't have pe,band, clubs, and etc. They have some people come in a teach the kids band at a cost to parents. The school as a whole failed the map test. Teacher/s are not teaching up to standers. The teachers turn over rate is redicious. The teachers that can teach they get rid of. They have a pre k teacher their who is on the acceptance commitity, that speaks volume about the school right. This school sucks. If your kids the chance at a good education, choose another school. Their spelling books can be bought at school box, really.
