This was the perfect choice for our daughter. I can't say enough positive things about the teachers.

"Very well rounded school with strong academics and good athletics. Very diverse socioeconomic and racial school unlike others in the area. Students get to appreciate ""real"" people in our society. Some of the teachers need to be recycled, but for the most part, the teachers are great. You will find no bullying going on at Tampa Catholic; everyone appreciates and respects each other. The number of DE, AP, and honors classes is definitely a plus. Colleges may say they don't care, but they do. Have your child take those classes if they can, it will help with college."

Great school, strong family values and great kids! Each child has an IPad and technology is growing! Most books are online and Edmodo is a great communicator between the teachers and students. If students are up for the challenge they can take college credits some leaving with the first year of college under their belt. This has been a great head-start and colleges love it.

"This school is lacking in many areas. Academically the grading system is not consistent and subject to many subjective grades that can kill the ""nonbrown nosers"" GPAs. Predominantly girls, predominantly Hispanic. Irritating to see athletes you know are getting a ""free ride"" with tuition so high. Quality of teaching is lacking. They do not coordinate and overburden the students with too many assignments on one day. There is a HUGE lack of course selection and not the right school AT ALL for a STEM student as the math/science departments are pretty on the outside but lack substance and quality teaching.. As others have said, the parents who give the most or the alumni families are the ones who get catered to especially in the sports systems where football especially, is completely ""daddy-run"" (hopefully will change next year). Parents are afraid to speak up bc most are ""Good Catholics"" or afraid of the repercussions to their children. There is no real sense of school spirit as many of the students have no time to get involved (because of a ridiculous multitude of stupid assignments) The guidance department is a joke. And the school will not listen to parents re change."
