Dayspring Academy has made my dreams a reality. I am very thankful for the strong relationships that teacher have with the children. They never fail to help there students achieve beyond the stars. My children were accepted into this school a few years ago and it has been the best experience yet. My children are receiving the best grades i have ever seen. While there is a lot of homework, I believe that it really helps. My experience with this school has always been amazing. So thankful!

I feel so blessed that my family has discovered Dayspring. The high academic standards, the field trips, that heavy arts, the character and leadership skills they instill in my children are second to none. we are so fortunate to attend DSA. I would highly recommend this school to everyone!

Some of the teachers were disrespectful towards me in middle school, they treated me worse that anything I have seen. The homework load was way too much, I had no time to be a child. I would go to bed around 11 each night, and cry myself to bed every night, because of the stress load and homework load. In science, I was practically homeschooled teaching myself everything, then come to school the next day and listen to my science teacher lecture us for 30 minutes about nothing related at all to science. But overall most of the teachers are the best of their kind and others aren't. The art teacher is the best teacher of the school in my opinion. But currently I go to a public school and I am much, much happier.

I have two daughters that attend DSA. I am satisfied with their teachers, who are hard working wonderful people. The school does not offer proper support for children who struggle academically. They only offer an after school tutoring program twice a week, which, if it doesn't fit into your schedule then your child cannot participate. The school's expectations are extremely high, which yes is good in a away. However, students are constantly working in at least one grade ahead of their current grade level. So, 4th graders work in a 5th grade math book. 5th graders work in either a 6th or 7th grade math book. However, if you have a child who is barely preforming at grade level, what good is it to push them ahead? The homework is too much. As, my daughters never have time for outside play during the week because they are completing 2-3 hours of homework, every night. They lack of physical education and recess is concerning. They have one day a week of P.E. and only 15 minutes of recess. The financial burden that we have taken on for our daughters to participate and be part of DSA is outrageous. The school passes the expenses of every project, activity, and field trip onto the parents. I don't mind giving and donating, but being required to do so multiple times a month...gets costly. One month at DSA can cost up to $200.00 if you have multiple children. Overall, very disappointed in the experience in DSA. Moving to a traditional public school for middle school will be the way we go. It is a good transition time...
