Do not come to this school. The director has absolutely no clue what he is doing and even if you manage to speak to him he is not capable of making any decisions without talking to the President of the Board (self-appointed president, chairman and superintendent of all Archimedean schools), who is full of himself and loves to control and micromanage every little thing in all three schools. The assistant director is equally not capable of resolving any issues and half the times she is lost herself. The school likes to target one or two students that they will mentor (regardless of whether that student is academically strong) and they do everything possible so that this “chosen” student gets the necessary grades to get into a top university (the student is given preferential treatment). As far as the teachers are concerned, they do not teach. Some of them do not even show up to their classes and as a result the students are left unattended. The school is very unorganized and everything they do is last minute and without thought. The counselor does not know what she is doing and has even managed to lose letters of recommendations for students applying to universities. This school has no respect whatsoever for any student and it is more than obvious from the way they treat them. In the event you have any concerns as a parent and they finally decide to answer your email (and if you are lucky you get a meeting with them), their reply to you will be “if you don’t like it leave.” My child attended this school (he was an A student) and everyday he came home frustrated from the teachers and administration and the way everything was handled there. Furthermore he would complain about how the favored student got away with murder. A definite feeling of helplessness in a school that is unfair and does not care about its students and they end up getting sick. I removed my child out of the school as soon as I secured another school for him. He was able to be himself again and not feel frustrated anymore. This is the reason that almost half of the past year’s sophomore class left.

If your child is a thick skinned, academically gifted student - I say go for it. Everyone else may want to take a longer look behind the curtain. A significant number of kids transferred out of the sophomore class this past year (2019) in favor of other schools. Seems like they need to address some core culture/leadership issues. Don't let them convince you that admittance to an Ivy League school is a measurement of personal worth. That's just not healthy.

I am very happy with the school, my son started 9th grade, and he went to a different level on his academics, they create a health challenging environment, and I have to say its a very difficult curriculum, yet he is doing very well. it is a real college preparatory .

This school pretends to be open to all ideas. They are open except if your a Christian and you believed in traditional marriage, Teachers promote alternative way of life and bring speakers to influence the kids on gay and lesbian ways with the excuse that the want to be sensible to the gay and lesbian students. After my older son started expressing his Christian ideas my other younger kids got target by the school principal. When I requested a meeting with the principal she refused. I took my kids out of that school. Academics: Archimedean pride to have a very strong successful academic curriculum but at what cost? your ideas your principals and family life? Saturday school, they will be ready for University but not for real life. Don't put your kids thru this crazy school
